I'm at around day 20. 1 year of Arginine did nothing for me. I don't do any of those weird size improvement exercises (natural 7.2x6.1). My erection has very likely suffered from too much ���� and I can't cum from PIV.

- 3*2g L-Citrulline daily
- No crazy spontaneous erections
- No unusual morning wood
- Erection quality has noticably improved, from 75% to 90-95% and sometimes rock hard
- I don't really go flaccid after ejaculating

New to the group. Just curious how long before you start noticing the effects?
 
I tried melanotan once it makes your skin darker easier to tan and also I got night time erections all the time.
 
I have noticed, and my research has verified, that you should take between 4 to 6 grams of either Citrulline or Arginine per day to have an effect. Citrulline is better and more effective at being metabolized, a good portion of Arginine gets wasted in the digestive tract. Also, combined with large green leafy salads each day makes it much more effective, as green leafy veggies really boost Nitric Oxide levels (verified through extensive testing. I take it as I am older, over 60, and these "chemicals" decrease over age...

Also, I noticed the effects quickly... day or two.

I've been taking around 1/2 teaspoon of l-citrulline in the morning before work, but something I have just figured out is that it works better if instead I take it just prior to my PE workout.
 
I have checked out this thread before, maybe over a couple years ago, and up until now I was an arginine man. I supplemented sometimes up to 20 grams of l-arginine per day. It works, but what I noticed was that is seemed to work less and less each year, maybe due to tolerance buildup. Regardless, I just wanted to post a testimony of the positive results I have had this past week after introducing citrulline into my day. From what I have read online as well as understood about arginine, I applied to the citrulline.. by this I mean that you can take an extremely large dose without side effects, as what your body doesn't use you will basicly release anyways. So I started last Thursday 5/29, taking the 3 doses per day which was 3 grams per serving. By Saturday I decided to up my dosage... doubling my dose to 6 grams 2-3 times per day. Now I'm close to 20 grams per day. This all started, because this past Monday 6/2 was my birthday.... just turned 31 btw... The wife and I went on vacation Sunday night all the way through today we made it back home. I started the citrulline a couple days early to basically make sure the shit was in my system before vacation. NOW LET ME TELL YOU, I am a happy man today. The wife and I had more sex than we have had in a VERY long time. Not just because we were on vacation, because that of course helped, but because I was having hard erections all day. These past few days I have been waking up with good morning wood, and because I was an arginine user prior, I can make an accurate comparison, although there is no comparison. Needless to say, I am now a citrulline man. I will have to get this stuff in bulk, because I can see now that it will come in handy for doing PE. My wife said that my dick felt bigger, and I was able to stick it right in her and make her cum within minutes without any foreplay several times this weekend. Very much unlike her, she initiated for me to fuck her in many random locations at the resort we stayed in. Even had a couple dudes walk by as I was smashing her at the ice machine... I know, sounds like we are exhibitionists, but we really don't do this stuff often. The point here is that supplementing with citrulline goes into my system very fast, and by comparison I now feel that I was wasting my money on so much arginine because obviously I wasn't absorbing it properly. I know there is viagra and cialis, but I don't do well with stimulants, and so I prefer things that don't make my heart race or beat abnormally. This is it.
 
Just wondering if anyone here has taken L-Citrulline long term and gotten any side effects or if it stopped working for your erections because
of tolerance build up? Anyone here taken this supplement for longer than 1 year and does it still work well for you?
I've taken supplements in the past and for some supplements I got bad side effects after taking them for over 2 years. Which is why I am asking.

I also read that taking L-Citrulline or L-arginine can increase chances of getting herpes/cold sore virus.

Sounds like a great addition to a stack of stuff I'm currently taking. Right now I'm taking Maca, Zinc, Ginsing, Prostate stack, Horny Goat Weed and Lecithin. I haven been taking them almost two weeks and my sperm load and shooting distance has increased a lot. Combined with the L Citrulline Malate should be a great stack!
 
A recent preliminary study of 17 men (between the ages of 38 and 59) with erectile dysfunction saw improvements in measures of erectile function and sexual satisfaction after eating 3.5 ounces of pistachios daily for three weeks. Further studies are needed to evaluate this relationship.

Bumping with my own experience.

As I look past the few weeks or so, I've had a sore, which prevents real work outs. Healing well now though, so really looking forward to utilizing the Bathmate back to my life.

So, I've been taking doses of L-Citrulline not daily, but maybe 3 - 5 times a week, mostly towards evening time. I've actually mixed the powder into a drink, which tastes great and has good qualities. On it's own added to water, urgh, so many of the powders are quite nasty. And I've tasted several!

Anyhow, I really think my harder erections are caused by my L-Citrulline intake, as I didn't take it so much previously.
Pistachios sure taste good, but are so expensive over here and the my drink mix is "faster." Pistachios for delicacy, so it shall be for me, for the time being at least. Many nuts are good for well-being, as several contain good fats and proteins. At least from what I've read.

Oh, can't remember if watermelon was mentioned in any of the pages. It also has good properties for penile health!
 
I started taking this stuff not too long ago, and think there might be something to this. my eq been hurting over the last few years, but it definately has improved a bit over the last few months taking this(as well as pycnogenol). my question is, don't you guys think it's a waste taking it as citrulline malate, instead of plain old citrulline? all citrulline malate is is citrulline mixed with malic acid... so you're only getting half as much citrulline as you would if you were taking an l citrulline supplement on it's own. citrulline is what makes it work, i feel like malic acid is just a filler they threw in there to save money. problem with this filler is it takes up half the container lol. feels like it's just spending a lot more money than necessery. i've taken l citrulline made by source naturals, and also citrulline malate by swanson, and primaforce. i could feel the citrulline take effect when i'd take 1.5 grams at a time of the source naturals, but with the cm i'd take close to double that, and still didn't think it was the same. i didn't feel hot at all, no extra energy. for now i'm, i'm leaning towards buying straight up citrulline powder in bulk. thoughts?
 
I've only used the L-Citrulline powder, says 100 % pure powder, by Now Foods. I've actually mixed it together with organic cocoa. Works for me!
I remember taking some pycnogenol as well, I think I could order it again for a few months supply. Supposed to aid with ejaculation volume in some sense or so I read a while ago.
Currently I'm mainly taking zinc, Dopa Mucuna, some vitamin B formula and vitamin D. Dopa Mucuna has been a nice aid for my mental well being, of course I take it only 2 -3 times a week, as in not to overload.

So, anyway, in the future, get the straight up powder L-Citrulline!

Then last night i thought i would see if i could get it up again.Low and behold i did.
I did find out that for years my testosterone has been blocked by estrogen,and i would say to anyone who has struggled to get hard read this very important article.
Its quite shocking.

Two hours, with a build-up and climax that was very hard to believe. The level of hardness, feeling, and size, was off the charts... I believe my Nitric Oxide production has slowly waned as the years have progressed, this is natural, and this supplement has returned it to normal (or even higher). I will be testing my NO levels as test strips should be arriving in the mail today, to determine if I need to take 2 grams as I have been taking. it will be interesting to see and track the results.
