When I was taking arginine I would take 6-10 grams per day. It's much cheaper to buy Arginine powder from www.bulknutrition.com or another place that you can find the powder in bulk. There's another thread that I posted about how much per gram the pills are vs. the powder, and I think the powder was like 1/4 the cost.
 
L-Arginine is a wonderful thing to take for blood conditioning. It will strip the junk out of your veins. Capsules can get gotten for 6 bucks a bottle of 60 from Walmart. Do you remember the cost on the powder? GS
 
$22.99 for one pound (454 g). That works out to be about 5 cents per gram, vs. the $6 Walmart bottle of 30 g (60 pills x 500 mg) which ends up being 20 cents per gram. So you get the powder for 1/4 the cost of pills, and a pound of powder is going to last you a whole lot longer. Just mix it in some water or orange juice. It will make the water taste like metal, but the orange juice kinda masks it.
 
I usually take about 3-4 grams before a Penis Enlargement workout to get a better erection. It takes 30-60 minutes to notice it.
 
I have a sports supplement magazine that recommends 3-5 grams post workout for lifting. My previous post was for Penis Enlargement. Either way I recommend taking it, and buying in bulk by pound or kilo.
 
I have always read that 2-5 grams daily is always best. Taking it with OJ is apparently better becuase it allows the body to absorb it faster.
Higher amounts are for athletes and body builders.
 
it sounds like lecithin functions the same as L-arginine....basically cleaning out the blood stream...is this true?
 
From what I've heard, Arginine supplies extra nitrogen for the body. After lifting this is used to repair muscle tissue. It is also believe that nitrogen is used to trigger erections.
 
Muscle build up, yes. Fat loss, I doubt it. Unless you consider that greater muscle mass boosts metabolism and burns more fat that way.
