Dear Abby,

I met Cindy at a singles dance. I knew as soon as I looked at her that she was too young for me. I'm 64 and she was 36, 28 years my junior. I really regretted it because we got along so well that evening. She made me feel so comfortable in her presence. Our age difference didn't seem to matter to her as much as it did to me.

Abby, I told her I felt people were staring at us. I said they are probably wondering if I am your father. She thought I was being sili and said if I wanted to see her again she would be honored to go out with me.

Cindy and I have been dating now for three months. I really like her and I think she likes me. Still, everywhere we go, I feel people watching us.

Sometimes they just outright stare. It is very annoying and I know it is because of our age difference that draws these prolonged looks from everyone we meet. I just feel so uncomfortable about this whole thing and wonder if I should continue with the relationship.

Why do people have to be so rude?...? It must be the age thing.

Sincerely,

Rich

P.S. I have included a picture of Cindy

OK... before you read this joke, I just want to make it clear that it is intended to be taken lightly, and I myself have no racial prejudices whatsoever. I hope you guys don't get offended... ;)

''A black man and his son were on an airplane. All was going well, until the left engine of the plane stopped functioning all of a sudden. The plane was losing altitude rapidly, and something had to be done. The pilots decided to dump all the cargo. Well, that wasn't enough.. the plane was still losing altitude, so they decided that some of the passengers had to be ditched. No one wanted to volunteer, so it was decided that they would start sorting people out alphabetically. The flight attendants begin writing down a list of the people that would have to sacrifice themselves to save the others: ''All right everyone. First off, are there any africans on the plane?'' they asked the passengers.
All was silent. ''OK.. how about any black people?''
Still no response. ''Well, let's see.. any colored folks?''
Not a creature stirred.
Except the little black boy in the back of the plane. He was getting confused, and asked his father: ''dad, I thought you always taught me that honesty is more important than anything?''
''Yes, son. I did'', his father replied hastily.
''Then why aren't we volunteering? They already asked for Africans. Blacks, and Colored people. Aren't we black??'' the boy insisted.

''No son'' his father replied. ''Today, my boy, we are Niggers!''
