Been doing some research on collagenous tissue and the various tissues of the penis, and came across some interesting info on several joint support supplements which I thought really were only for cartilage growth, however, since cartilage is an intricately woven collagenous tissue, I suppose that any supplement which is an aid to collagenous tissue generation and increased tissue elasticity would be an aid in Penis Enlargement, ESPenis EnlargementCIALLY TO HARD GAINERS.

The main issue with plateaus I feel is that once you have stretched your tissues to a certain point, they just don't have any more elasticity to go any further to create real micro tears that will heal in an extended state. Simply put, you stretch, you tear, you heal back at the same length as you were before and if you do it too often (overtrain) you may lose more length over time and more elasticity.

For growers like me who are not showers, we usually start off with a really bad flaccid hang and then get some flaccid growth that almost always outpaces the erect growth. I believe, the lack of a flaccid hang doesn't hold back erect gains, rather it promotes them and this is why guys who start out small like me sometimes get better than average gains, while some guys who start out with nice flaccid hangs have more problems packing on the inches. The problem is simply, the guys with the longer and thicker flaccid hangs have less of a rubber band to stretch with and more of a rope.

Now, after 5 months of Penis Enlargement, my flaccid hang is now 4 inches which is considerably better than the 2 inches I had before Penis Enlargement, but the relative size of my flaccid hang to my erect length is a bit different now. Even though I "grow" about 3 inches when I get erect, the ratio is different now which means my unit as a whole is less elastic overall than when I started Penis Enlargement.

So for hard gainers or guys hitting a plateau what kind of supplements could possibly soften up that collagenous tissue and maybe make it nice and elastic again? In fact, some research I have read suggests too much chronic abuse to collagenous tissue without proper rest will cause it to lose its elasticity as their is some deformity in how it grows back (posted this in another thread).

Well, I am thinking that Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, and Collagen Hydrolysate would be a good start. I will have to do more research on this, but since Penis Enlargement is about collagen building and ligament building and promoting tissue elasticity (so it is easier for blood to stretch the skin and create a bigger erection) and not muscle building, the kind of supplements used to drive an anabolic state in body building may not be all that useful to penis enlargement, while simple supplements for joint support may possibly be of great benefit to penis enlargement, especially when Penis Enlargement veterans are done with their "newbie gains". In fact, some of these overlooked supplements I have never seen talked about in any Penis Enlargement forum, might actually do more good than some of the traditional supplements which aid in getting blood into the penis and maintaining erections, but don't have anything to really do with the actual healing of the penis from stretching and ballooning and the promotion of tissue elasticity you need for future gains.

Anyone else want to help me out on exploring this further or maybe someone could chime in on if any Penis Enlargement forum has had this kind of discussion in the past?

I'm taking a combo of msm, glucosime and chrondriton, to help my joints, but I feel your theory might have some truth to it....I know it certainly won't hurt your penis. It may help gains..to soon for me to say though.
 
This post makes a lot of sense! I've never felt like the penis enlargement supplements really had a very strong philosophy behind them. Getting more blood into your penis isn't going to lengthen the tissues that are really the ultimate limitation to length gains.

I did some searching online and found some Chinese products that look like they're intended more for martial artists, but sound like they would really apply to the ligaments we're most concerned with as well. Is anyone familiar with, "QI LI SAN"?

I did some of my own research today, and ended-up buying a Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement as a result. I found some really helpful info on- http://www.quackwatch.org

It sounds like there isn't a whole lot of medical support to back-up the claims that MSM makes, so I decided to steer clear of that one. I didn't do any research on Collagen Hydrolysate. The info I found on Glucosamine/Chondroitin was enough to sell me on giving that a try.

If I suddenly gain 4" I'll be sure to post an update. Wish me luck! :mrgrin:
 
I've been taking the Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement for 4 days, at this point. Maybe it's psychosomatic, but I do think it is doing something for my ligs.
