i've found some batteries :ROP - Zinc question for supra

Zinc containing batteries

I've found these 1st batteries in a box while cleaning up the atic.
I've looked them up...AND GUESS WHAT. They contain zinc. Although it's a zinc-chloride mixture...could you tell me if they're/would be any good for making a ROP?

Sorry this site is in dutch. But i only found this one and a German one:

A German Version

Others may contribute to...all answers are welcome.

The zinc that is contained in the batteries is not pure zinc, not even close. Supra uses zinc that is 99% zinc. In the past Supra has commented that battery zinc is not worth using. You can buy a 99% zinc rod from McMaster.com for $6.20 plus shipping. It's not worth bothering with the batteries.

I don't have a credit card, and i'm not willing to get one too.
Do they accept any onther form of payment?

Check out their web site, I'm sure they will tell you if you can use a check. You want to order the zinc inhibitor rod. It is 6 inches long with a plug at one end. You'll cut off the plug and then cut it into 3 two inch pieces. Enough zinc for 3 ROPs.

Try and look for the carbon-zinc batteries. They are fine
I live in Brazil and is hard to find zinc rod. I dont want to buy it from mcMaster. I found some AAA carbon-zinc batteries. If i make a rop with two of this batteries i can produce some effects?

you can use aluminum and copper also (aluminum is more common) basically you just need two metals with differnet electrical potentials aluminum and copper will produce a greater voltage than aluminum and zinc :)

platnium = +1.2 v
silver = +.8
copper = +.34
lead (I wouldnt use this if I were you) = -.13
nickel = -.26
iron = -.44
zinc = -.76
aluminum =-1.66

the optimal metals to achieve the highest voltage would be platnium and aluminum giving you 2.86 volts (potentially, you would have to have your balls in acid to produce this much voltage:)) anyways, it will give the "biggest shock" to you. I use aluminum and copper which can make 2 volts. if I get sweaty, I can defiantely feel it tingle and sometimes the shock can be a bit painful :) (usually fixed by a reposition of my junk...) good luck making one, you will need to get some metal cleaner (like CLR) and use it on the metal after a while (or get new metal), you are corroding the metal when you are generating voltage...

any comments?
I probably should have explained the theory; the two different metals have differnet potentials, as stated previously. the difference in potential generates electric current when a chemical reaction takes place, in our case the reaction is with the slightly acidic sweat of our groin. the potentials try to equalize and that gives you a slight shock which someone has found (God only knows what they were doing when they figured this out) this helps to increase sperm production and it generally leads to an erection.

an important note when building your ROP; you MUST use an electric insulator between the two metals and should try to keep them seperated as far as possible so the charge doesnt just jump across the surface of the skin. my rop is more like a square with 4 wires, two insulated, one copper, one aluminum (i have also put some plastic tubing on parts for comfort reasons.) the electrodes sit on the right and left side of the scrotum. hopefully this helps explain a bit more
