To like how being buzzed or drunk feels? I find Im a happy drunk person and like how it makes me feel. My wife is also fine with it. So far it isnt a problem with interfering with other parts of my life such as work or being a husband/ dad. I just really like the feeling over being depressed, although my depression meds are making life alot easier to deal with. What do you think? I just dont want to look at things through muddy glasses so to speak.

I hate the way it feels...thats why I stopped. Honestly, its the most horrible feeling I have ever had. That's just me though.

There's nothing wrong with it, but as you're getting into it pretty late in life, just remember moderation and don't make it something you depend on all the time. I hate it to break it to you, but the euphoric feeling you've been enjoying probably won't last forever. As you grow accustomed it will be less and less, so maybe try to save the drunkenness for the occassional session and experiment with just having a few drinks to unwind/relax. Definately don't look at it as a way to beat depression - even though you're feeling pleasant and wound up when you drink now, ultimately booze is a depressant substance on your whole nervous system, and like I said the lift your feeling with your initial experimentation isn't permanent. I'd also suggest some social drinking, as that's what people generally enjoy most. Call up some friends and go out for drinks. There's a whole other dimension to drinking than just pounding liquor for the buzz that it seems like you're not getting to enjoy.

Yeah. We plan on going to some parties soon to experience what your saying. Weve just been so bound up all of our lives we have been so tightly wound its pathetic. No one knows right now that weve started drinking and when they find out itll be hell for them as we will be devils. But I say Fuck YOU! to that. Mabey we will get to party sometime. Ever go to Jacksonville Fl.??
