I have an old book I ordered sometimes ago that touches on the basics of Penis Enlargement methods. It keeps referring to damaging the dorsal nerve by putting too much pressure on the top of the penis, which erodes sensation among other things. It advocates jelqing, but insists on keeping the pressure on the top part of the penis minimized. It also claims that this is the greatest reason to stay away from an ADS ad similar devices. I know some of you have used such devices and seen some positive results. In your opinion, is this nonsense bullshit, an overstated mild concern, or a legitimate concern?

I'm simply wanting opinions because I'm considering hanging and possibly an ADS to supplements my manual work. I know some of you guys put your tool through some serious punisHydromaxent and some of you are more cautious. So, hit me with some feedback. :gluedtosc

It is possible to damage the Dorsal Nerve. Care should be taken. If you use a Bib Hanger follow the website instructions. I use one and have never had problems.

its VERY possible to damage the dorsal nerve no two ways about it, I have hurt myn a few times and MAN does it fucking hurt, and ya cant feel anything in ya penis.
If ya do hanging, ADS wrong than ya will hurt it like I did a few times, if it keeps getting hurt and damaged than impotency will result.

Well, I sure as hell don't want impotence. Exactly how does this happen and what can one do to avoid this. RED, I'm particularly interested in anything you can elaborate on this, as I know you are one of those guys that really push it to the limit in your routines and experiments. What have you done that has hurt the nerve?

If the nerve gets too damaged than the guy cant get another erection, I aint sure if thats impotency???? I might have got mixed up with that word??? anyways thats only if its bad and takes summut to make it happen.

I hurt my nerve say 2/3 times, once from hanging wrong, another from an ADS at night with string attached from cock to foot.

The sore nerve feels tingly, no real feeling, very numb and sometimes cold.
It takes AGES to go back normal again, like 12 hours or more, took me at least 1 week before full feeling was back, doing a mixture of hot/cold wraps when one goes to the toilet will help get the feeeling back, hot and cold MUST be used, hot wrap than cold wrap or vice versa so to shock the nerves back into sensitivity again with these two diff'' temp'' sensations....it works.

To avoid nerve damage, make sure you dont apply pressure or too much on the top of the penis, Dorsal .... when you hang the weight is on the sides, to avoid this so try to do the same with everything else on the penis, the sides should take the brunt.

The bad thing about nerve damage is if its bad, than ya can be out for MONTHS, the nerve takes a month to heal 1mm as apposed to 4mm with the other body tissue, so a bad injury can mean lost time and much stress, my advice is if anyone hurts a nerve, simply apply as many hot and cold wraps you can, keep doing it the thing willl heal ALOT quicker than normallly.

Wow. Seems like so many things I do puts pressure on the top of the penis. When I jelq, it seems like most of the pressure is on the top and bottom, compared to the sides. Even when I grip for stretching, I have a tendency to squeeze the hell out of the top and bottom. The thing is this is short-term, heavy tension, versus hanging or ADS use for several hours. I don't know if this is good or not. I have not had a problem to this point, but I don't want one. Sometimes it seems I really squeeze junior pretty hard.

Dorsal nerve damange is definately real. It is very much possible to damage the dorsal nerves, but I think many people underestimate just how resilient the nerves in the penis are. In order to permanently damage the dorsal nerve, you would have to subject them to an insane amount of force...enough so that it would cause you great pain in trying to do so. I believe you'd realize that you were doing more harm then good if your began to experience this kind of pain.

Kind of makes sense. Doesn't seem to be a widespread problem. In fact, I don't know of anyone on this forum that has ever had a serious condition that required medical attention, from any Penis Enlargement injury. Again, the curiosity on this topic struck me because I find myself applying most pressure on the top and bottom. I'll have to try to focus more on distributing the force during a stretch grip.

You're not alone my friend. This is a concern of mine as well, though I still feel pretty assured that damage cannot be done by manual stretching/jelqing. Maybe it's because my glans is more sensitive now due to Penis Enlargement'ing, where it was not before. Not necessarily nerve damage, but it got my concerned at first.

Glans sensitivity could be increased by improved bloodflow, which is more likely the case, though it may cause a little concern not knowing exactly why.

I have a ton of questions to ask you guys about this one. I started hanging a little while ago. I don't have a bib and I want to order one but can't for now. Anyway I hang with a poor man's capn wench but I use something different than the cable clamp. It is this ratchet deal that I can get pretty tight to hold the hanger on but it puts pressure on the sides, top, and bottom. I sometimes feel pain but it is just skin stretching or too much weight and I just fix the prob and I'm fine. I hang in 20 minute sets. When I'm not hanging I sometimes feel a slight sting in my penis. It doesn't even deserve the word sting. It is such a mild feeling I barely notice and only lasts a few seconds. It might just be some soreness from my girth sessions. I read something that bib said about people back in the day hanging and making their dorsal go numb and they became impotent. I get rock hard boners. So what I'm asking is would I notice if damage was being done early or would I catch it when it is too late? Also when I hang with this deal sometimes the area in front of the hanger points inward or to one of the sides. This doesn't seem like a problem cause the area in front of it isn't being stretched. What so you guys think?

I've heard nothing but bad news about those devices that attach to your leg or foot, in terms of safety.

I'm not so sure I have felt pain from stretching up wards, had to take several days off from pe'ing. I try to tell newbies not to stretch up for the first 6 to 9 months until you get a better feel for what you are doing and you get some stretch in the nerves LT

I think I may have scared some of you, I hope not it wasnt my intention.
To damage the nerves is VERY hard TRUST ME I did it thru CARELESS hanging and insane ADS methods that werent tested, I was testing them.

Doing manuel work haha this cant really damage ya nerves, only if ya really fucking yank at it which no one does unless ya a nutter like me LOL j/k.

But serious, manuel work is very very slight chances of hurting the nerves even when ya grip anyway, sides or top .... its the haning and ADS ya need to be VERY vareful of .... supra and Still amongst others know ALOT more than me on safety in hanging and ADS so they are the ones if ya wonna follow that point of the road.

Just dont worry and get paranoid about pe/npe, especialy like I said while doing it manuel cos its the safest imho.

Huh. I never got this sensation. Stretching straight up, as well as down, seems to be a great stretch for me.

RED, I know you've been an animal with the shit you've tried at times. Glad to hear the risk with manual techniques is very low. I still think I will end up giving hanging and ADS use a try down the road, so I'll talk with Supra and SWM at that time.

Yes I aint not advising it, just air on the side of caution with it alittle more.

Lucky you lol
I did and it hurt for days, I had been stretching up for 10/15 minutes and wham! pain!!!! >:(
OK could be I did to much to soon :s but I just don't want anyone to feel what I felt. Is why I think newbe's should start out with down, out, left, right, down left, & down right. stretch ligs first then go after the tunic later.
Just my $.015 :s when I get rich I'll give both cents

Last month I started really getting into ADDs and then hanging. The thing I didn't realize was with the ADDs I was making my head numb afterwards from using it so long, I always checked my color and temp, but this wasn't enough. THe head had already been a bit numb, didn't think nothing of it, then I started hanging 5 lbs for 15 mins, 3 times every other day for a week. Bad bad idea, my penis lost alot of feeling at the head and had that cold numb feeling RED described for days, it's been a month and I still don't have as much feeling and get as many erections. Sucks. But I have also been jelqing and using the ADDs once or twice a week since, I shouldn't have, that's what is keeping me from healing right.

RED, how long should I wrap the hot and then the cold? How many times per day as well? THanks.
