I'm white and have been involved with an afro-american lady for three years. It was tough in the beginning for both of us to get use to both of our different beliefs. How about anyone else?

I'm black my girlfriend is white .... I have only been in interracial relationships. Only had problems when I had to win the parents or grandparents over because they were set in their ways but it was worth it. I loved white women even when I was a kid lOl way before it was "cool" or common - it is just the way God programmed me.

My lady's brother (brother in law) is married to a white lady as well and they have two kids. The funny thing is that my brother in laws, wifes grandfather is the South East Region Head of the KKK. It was interesting when they did a baptism out on the beach. It was a bunch of Klan members on one side and my lady's huge family on the other.

My lady is a country girl, real country. Her family loves me and I love them. In fact that is what helped me get closer to my lady was meeting her mom and seeing how real and humble she is. They are a real southern church/choir family that reminds me allot of the Madea cast lol. The only one that really doesn't really approve of me is her grandma because she was brought up in the slavery days and she thinks the white man is the devil. My lady dated one other white man before me and all her other relationships were all black dudes. She said that brothers use to step to her last white man and fuck with him due to dating her. That has never happened to me and I told her I wish it would lol.

I always dated spanish women, never a white women. This is my first long term black relationship. When I was 9, I had a crush on my best friends mom which she was black. There was something about her attitude and curves that captivated me. Ever since I have always wanted to be in a black relationship. I don't find white women attractive at all unless they are mixed or something. Growing up all the women I loved on TV/Movies were black.

Before this relationship I went out with a few Jamaican women but all we did was fight all the time. Don't get me wrong, me and my lady use to fight all the time too and she use to love to physically fight and that was a tough first year lol.

Allot of black women don't believe in blow jobs and that was one thing I had to get her into. We had allot of different beliefs until she saw things my way lol.

Another thing is that her family is not affectionate towards each other in relationships. Like she has a sister married to a black man and they have 5 kids. They never do any PDA (Pubic Display of Affection) around their kids or anywhere. Her whole family is the same way. I am completely different all we do is PDA and at first she didn't understand that because that is not what she knew or was raised with so we argued allot about that in the beginning. When her 10 year old nieces see us hugging or kissing I always see them staring and I think they either like it or are wondering why their parents aren't the same way.

I tried to be in a relationship but the girl said she was all set.

I remember that.

I'm black and married to a Filipina.

I was hooked when I did research about the Filipino culture and how the women (some not all) treat their men good and are deep into the family. I did not see this in my own culture and some of the American girls that I went out with.

Well this is an interesting post.....

I have never been in a relationship so I don't think I can tell you how to work out an interracial relationship. However I do now that if you are in a relationship with a person who loves you for who you are(race, caste, religion, etc), things will automatically fall into places. So.....chill(shivering)

I respectfully disagree...Love takes work and things don't automatically fall into place. One will need to be committed to the relationship and the person. :)

Exactly.....
Sorry for saying "automatically"

Love takes time and patience. If two persons are in love with each other, then they will sort out their differences.
