I can feel the thickness at my base and I'm trying to stretch that further out.. Have you experienced this?

No, I have never done expressive stretching. I only do ligament stretching. As DLD (and many others) recommend- ligaments (1), expressive (2) and tunica (3) (but some say to go for tunica after the ligs). When I max my lig gains (and they are no longer in the way of the other stretches (because they sure get in and make the stretch less intense)) then I think on starting this . But it's very interesting to me to see an expressive stretch progress thread. Keep up, I would LOVE to see
