If you've gone from seeing the prospect of sexual contact/training from something exciting to being concerned about performance- or even experiencing dread, this will affect your EQ!

In addition to the physical portion of your training, make a concerted effort to recondition your mindset. The emotional visualization portion of your training should be up there and performed along with the rest of your regimen.

In the recent months I've been experiencing pain as well as a diminishing eq. My two questions are, can I recover? And what exactly should I be doing to heal? (Like how long should I abstain from masterbation/sex? 1 month? 2 months? 4 months?)

If you're suffering from a dorsal nerve injury you should be doing what you can towards that end to speed healing. The Alpha Lipoic Acid treatments should be helping. Supplementing with benfotiamine (and B-12), L-Carnitine, and fish oil can be helpful. Make sure you're not deficient in magnesium.

People do heal from these types of issues, and given what you've described it does sound as if your potential for getting through this is good.

You mention having had a habit of abusing masturbation. You should certainly refrain from this. Keep any form of stimulation (self induced or via sexual contact) light and infrequent enough to not aggravate the issue. If you abuse yourself you may be slowing down the healing process or even contributing to the damage.

Most of all, you must allow the healing process to happen with a positive mindset. The more you dwell on the issue and allow yourself to feel depressed, the harder it's going to hit your EQ. It'll also encourage desperation- which might cause you to "test" your penis frequently This in and of itself can contribute to declined EQ.

The best case scenario would be for you to find a medial professional who;'s committed to helping you see through this problem. That might be easier said than done, but [while we do our best to be helpful on these forums] you can only get some much proper, non-medical, and remote advice from a message board.

Ok so I just got back from the ultrasound. Doc says no venous leak, no penile scarring. However, artery inflow is low, it's in the 20s (good inflow is in the 30s). Could this be the constricted PC pushing on the arteries? I also feel numbness that goes away if I don't masterbate. They injected me with tri mix and my penis feels constricted, numb. My doc says it might be a pelvic floor issue, but he's not sure. He says "use it or lose it". However, I will abstain from masterbation for one month, and do Hindi squats/reverse kegels. Would love to hear a comment back from you guys

The psychogenic component shouldn't be discounted. You've spent months in emotional pain towards anything penis-related. Reorienting your mind set is going to be very helpful in maximizing your libido and blood flow.

Alright, I spoke with the urologist who actually performed the ultrasound and he said that there is "no evidence of arterial tearing". This is great news: no venous leak, no scarring, no arterial problem. Tomorrow it'll be two weeks since I've jacked off and finished (a new record for me). My penis definitely feels better. Some color has returned to my glans. EQ still sucks, but I assume it will continue to improve as I abstain from any sexual activity. I have also been doing my reverse kegels, hindi squats, tennis ball massage, heating pad, and swimming often.

At this point, the doctors don't know what's wrong. So I have to assume that the next logical thought would be that this is a muscle injury. I really hope to god you guys are right. My plan is to abstain from sex/masturbation for a month.. but should I wait longer? Maybe 6 weeks?

Very good news indeed, I thought similarly. I would abstain from ejaculation for however long it takes you to get back to 100% eq.

The most maddening part about all of this is that I still have no idea what is wrong with me. It might be a tight pelvic floor, but it also might be something else. I'm just so confused and worried about how I should be handling this medically speaking. I've had my ultrasound and they couldn't find anything. But I just woke up with a 65% erection, numbness, constant pelvic pain, and very pale glans. I don't know who to see next, medically, to get a better diagnosis. I'm really sad that it's almost been a year and still dealing with symptoms. I haven't been able to get a full capacity erection since dec 30th (still waiting). That's the longest I've been without a full capacity erection throughout this whole process. It makes me feel like I'm getting worst..

Look at the positives: you've had some serious potential issues ruled out. What's left is very likely reparable. One thing is certain- though difficult, getting that right mind set is going to be vital to your success. If refraining from masturbation makes you feel better, then do so until you've recovered enough to tentatively attempt a light stamina session.

Any idea on what's my problem is? The pain thing seems to prevent me from getting a decent erection. I've only been recently experiencing pain. A month and a half ago I thought I was almost completely healed. Now I feel like I've been knocked back 3 months.

Nerve impingement can take awhile to heal. Rest and/or learning to train around this issue is going to be your best bet at speeding up healing.

Indeed. And also add in some heat and massage to help quicken the healing process. What is wrong is very hard to say, it could be many things but what I can do is help you feel secure knowing that it is very hard to mess up your penis. The penis is extremely resilient and will heal quickly. There are few injuries over my 16 years in this business that have not healed and most of these injuries were either poor training or surgical injuries.

I guess I should be focusing on the positives. I don't have any obvious signs of venous leak, scarring, and arterial tearing. And if it's a micro thing, I'm sure the problem is small enough to resolve itself. I can still get an erection and cum, my eq just happens to be shitty at the moment and sensitivity could be better. I'm assuming that dull pain at the base of my penis will eventually disappear. It's just a scary situation to be in.

Yup, all of these things are quite normal for most men who start PE and continue with it Eventually none of this will be an issue. The one thing that needs to be understood though is that micro-tears are what bring us gains and why SRT puts so much emphasis on healing. You are just fine and time will bring all things back into proper order. Try to take a lighter approach and live in the moment. Worrying on the future is futile.

Don't freak out over it.....especially that pain at the base....lol, I've got a pain they're 24/7.....I'm guessing it's from all the intense clamping I do all the time......just saying.....like you said....focus on the positives!

YUP, base pain is expected and experienced by every Brother who starts PE.

11 months in, waking up with fluctuating white glans, pain, and numbness is absolutely terrifying. I've been trying not to completely break down and tell myself that things will get better. I'm just so confused, I wish I knew what this was. It takes forever for me just to pee a little bit. When I'm "flaccid" penis still seems to be all tensed up and semi rigid. And it's been turtling a lot lately.

The urination issue is concerning, have you had your prostate looked at?

I don't really see the urination as an issue, never got my prostate checked. What's an issue is the dick pain in the base and the numb white penis head, and difficulty getting any kind of erection

DLD is right, your prostate has more control over things than you think. Def get that checked out if you have not already, that is a part of the body that if anything is wrong you want it taken care of immediately.

When we have problems urinating it could be due to the prostate. Prostate issues not only effect urination problems but also a host of others including:
dribbling after urination
excessive urination at night
frequent urination
sense of incomplete bladder emptying
urge to urinate and leaking, or weak urinary stream
incontinence
sexual dysfunction

So you can see how this correlates to your problem. An enlarged prostate can cause every issue you have but the base pain, which is related to PE. Have yourself checked out to be sure everything is alright. Catching this early is so important.

I'm only 25. I've seen about 6 urologists now and not one of them brought up the prostate as I thing to be concerned with. I think that's something you worry about when you get a bit older.
