No, I'm not talking about the mafia...

I was wondering if you can quickly "cement" temporary gains by moving on to another exercise quickly.

Like, let's say you finished your stretches and it was a really intense session. You're definitely hanging longer. Unless you had an ADS device or something, if you were done after that, your dick would slowly retract back up to where it was.

So if you went immediately into jelqing right after stretching , wouldn't it help "cement" what you just got? I know most of us do this anyway...do you think it's responsible for keeping our gains?

I'm confusing myself now... I just finished a killer stretch session, and looking at my dick, it IS longer....but now what? If I leave it be, it'll eventually go back to the start. So then, how are gains made? Your dick "remembers" that it was able to reach a certain distance away from your body or something?

I've also heard of silly things as splashing your penis with cold water after your routine to cement gains...i think i heard something like that at 🙈 though.. :p

Wouldn't cold water cause your penis to contract? I don't believe in that "freezing in" gains bullshit.

Hydromaxmm I understand to a certain degree the theory in that cold treatment.
Think about it......when the cold water is applied to the cock than all the blood in their runs off to the core of the cock [centre] and stays their...it doesnt all flow out...some stays in to keep the thing alive of course....anyways this blood goes to the center and stays their..normally it would be all over the penis like the outsides.....now me thinks that the theory to this is that applying the cold treatment will get all the blood ''some'' to the core ''center'' extremeties of the penile chambers and perhaps help in growth and healing? I actually reckon that this may help...although I wouldnt rec'' doing it after a session every time....just say now and again or while doing constricted work...rub say and ice block across the shaft and than get stimulated again.....it may help with the gains being cemented? try it and see.

Well Red, you are right since ice helps bring down swelling...but is that what we want with our cocks? Don't we want them to stay swollen?

It works on the same theory as ice baths and needle showers after working out I'd have thought. It's a known fact that ice baths are great after you've just been pumping the iron for 2 hours, it gets rid of all the "old" blood quickly so more can come in. You don't want your body or your dick to stay swollen because the blood is just hanging around and not doing anything, you want to get it out of there so more oxygenised blood can come in.

Of course, that may be b******s :s

I dont think its Bull myself.....the swollen look like ya say aint good really.
I leave myn swollen for say 15 mins than apply cold/hot treatment therapy to it...like Shaz'' says its old blood and fluid leftover from the workout..NOT NEW GAINS like some say....its possible future gains [what it may look like] if you stick at it...but that swollen state should be encouraged IMHO to go down abit.

But I remember a guy at PP who said that he always left his swollen member after a workout....no wraps..nuthing......and he gained alright.
So who knows???? Guys still gain alright when they go the gym and dont do Ice baths....but perhaps the ones that work hard enough and ice bath gain better?
