So do I think about the person while chanting this phrase?

You dont have to no but the guy that brought the method to Dr Joe Vitale's attention (Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len) did the following
While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.
So in a sense he had the patients files in his grasp or viewings while repeating the mantra to himself over and over and over and over.......

"After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely," he told me. "Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed."

I guess that we could use pictures, files, items whatever near us to bring us a connection with something in particular and in Dr Len's case this was the patients in order to release things in particular with them. So if its a person perhaps have a photo of them in front of you while repeating this mantra over and over and over ... it worked for Dr Lin and it will work for you.

This is the jaw dropper
Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.

This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy--anything you experience and don't like--is up for you to heal. They don't exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn't with them, it's with you, and to change them, you have to change you.

I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in ho 'oponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone--even a mentally ill criminal--you do it by healing you.
but it makes perfect sense ... I myself have been a HUGE CULPRIT in hiding my head in the sand and giving in to various temptations in my life which have nearly spiralled it into the ground while consumed in flames! I do not preach this stuff as someone who has been all lilly white and innocent ... I know what its like to make so many mistakes and then blame people for them ... blaming people for mistakes and terrible situations that really were down to ME .. yes ME... when I looked at the big picture and I needn't go into the whole story here, but it was all about my errors and not other people ... this is how I have really took to this method because we all create our being weather its bad or good ... again not me speaking like some new age hippy or LOA fanatic but from EXPenis EnlargementRIENCE in my own life ... sadly and it hurts me to admit having recently going through hell with various stuff in my life but we bring it all on ourselves!

Once we finally realise our own reality and everything around us is like it is because of out own thoughts and actions then finally we can change it to become more positive. I was going around in my life merely like a monkey swinging from tree to tree or merely cloaking the problem when what I needed to do was surgically cut the dead wood and treat the tree ... life is hard, its brutally hard to many but we can change it ... this mantra will surely help us all.

This whole mantra is “to set things right” and reach
“the state of Zero, where we would have zero limits. No memories. No identity"

The most powerful phrases here are: “I Love You” and “Thank You”. The powers of Love and Gratitude are unquestionable in every self-empowerment teaching, school or religion.

Who do you say these phrases? Essentially you just say them. No need to feel anything special, imagine anything, or otherwise to complicate this process. As Dr. Hew Len often says “just do it”. The process is as simple as breathing. When you breath in and breathe out – you clean your body from processed “polluted” air and enrich it with fresh, oxygen rich, good energy air. And all this happens without you mixing breathing process with any esoteric or complicated practices. It just happens and your body gets constant supply of oxygen.

Same with ho’oponopono. You repeat these phrases just like a mantra and the cleaning process happens. You may clean life situations, places, relationships and of course financial situations. When something comes to your awareness – you accept 100% responsibility for that and repeat the cleaning process. No guilt trips. No intellectualizing. No judgements. You clean. Divinity does the rest.
Divinity == God == Infinite Intelligence == ______________ <- insert you favorite term for “higher” power here.

Ho’oponopono cleaning is letting go and letting God.

The importance of this thread is paramount to the success of a happy manifested reality! In Judaism's Kabbalah we are taught that "thank you", "you are welcome", "I am sorry", "forgive me", etc. are all considered credits with the universe. With each credit our ability to manifest becomes so much greater. A connection of peace and love with each other creates a nirvana on Earth, allowing us to partake of the holy mysteries while we are here...essentially making Heaven on Earth. Thanks for your continues support in the spiritual journey, you are an inspiring man Red!

Dld,

Thank you for your efforts in this field.

Thank you for helping me and others believe this is possible.

Thank you Red for this; it is uplifting and inspiring.

You are so welcome!

I thought I give my two cents on hooponopono
I use it from time to time (sometimes for several weeks each day, or while being asleep having an mp3 repeating it)
Although I prefer EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

I've had some cool experiences with it and nah... didn't win the lottery.

Like people's problems solving, getting better when they were sick, people calming down when they really were in rage.
Sometimes I saw people's face change - like in becoming more symmetric, I guess (but maybe it's just in my head)

I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you:)

These words work so well because it is coming from a state of complete altruism. "I love you" is a gift to the recover that will bring joy. "I am sorry" will bring solace to those we have offended, returning joy to the relationship. Please forgive me puts the power in the others hand and allows them to give beck to you completing the circle. I would also add in "You are welcome".

The mind can be an amazing tool for success, for internal peace for anything you put your mind into it. Meditating every night helped me with my business and love life and my peace of mind.

Be safe!

I use this often, it is the best response in any stressful situation. Forgiveness is Love.

Isn't enough of this in the world, and I have been guilty of not using this enough.

Its TOO EASY to hold onto negative thoughts, rage, anger, hatred, evil desire towards someone etc. Its toxic, has no beneficial result apart from fucking you up firstly spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

I'm a firm believer that a sound healthy forgiving compassionate mind can help keep away many illnesses, disease, and is why so many cancers are rife now, not because medicine can see them more ... because we are such a vindictive revengeful society.

Awesome Red, I will respond to this later but I have some pretty good input.

I'm going to start doing this tonight. My mental health is going South again, with low mood creeping in.

I love this and I practiced it for sometime and then eventually I forgot about it. I’m so glad you bumped it because it is such a beautiful way to go through life. Thanks for bumping this.

I was able to have an experience with psilocybin that grants someone what this thread is trying to convey. The major difference being, I forgave myself for things throughout my entire life that were previously, deeply buried in my subconscious mind I had no idea were still haunting me. I let go of many things, forgave myself, forgave people from my past, etc.
All within a space of a couple HOURS, rather than countless therapy sessions and who knows how many hundreds of dollars in billed therapy hours.
I highly recommend psilocybin therapy, but not unguided. Most people are not mentally stable enough to handle such a deep self exploration on their own.

It is the best way to approach a person, it’s not just kind but it will be very receptive.
