I've noticed here lately that when I hit girth my pump varies from day to day. The amount of pump from my girth workouts I mean. For example:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights I can hit girth with the same level of intensity each night. I almost always get the MOST pump from my girth routine on Monday nights. Tuesday it's about the same. However, by Wednesday (third day in a row), even though I'm using the same amount of intensity in my workout, and working out for the same amount of time ....everything is the same as on Monday....I am getting less of a pump than on Monday night. I'm thinking that the tissues are in fact getting fatigued, and therefor reacting in a negative manner to the continued stress. Thursday and Friday nights' workouts usually yeild even less pump .

I experienced a similar thing when I was hanging daily. The first 2 or few days of the week, my flaccid stretched length would be up a little ...maybe 1/8" to 1/4" longer. By the next to last or last day of that week though, my flaccid stretched length would usually be shorter...up to a 1/4" shorter than my normal flaccid stretched length .

So basically the idea I'm trying to get across here is that maybe there is such a thing as working it too much, and to the point where the extra work becomes detrimental to new gains.

So, starting tonight (took last night off), I'm going to begin a 2 on, 1 off girth routine. I expect this to work better for me, because I expect that I will get a better pump from my girth workouts and more frequently. I think that is the key to new girth gains. A good pump that leaves you larger than your normal erect size.
