Overall, the signs seemed to indicate I had a good chance with this one. I don't want to say I'm "heartbroken", as that seems a little strong of a term, but it is a colossal disappointment that has been the cause of a depressing week. I'm too tired right now, but I'll share it later, if you guys are interested.

So, is anyone else out there bummed out in your dating life?

:blowjob: Doesn't like so promising now. <:(

Ahhh, the main thing we all have to learn about dating and seduction is that we all will get shot down. Don't let it get to you, that's the most important thing, there are so many women it's unbelievable, why let one drag you down?

Best thing to do, quickest way to get over being "shot down" is to go right back out as soon as you can and try, try again. It's a numbers game guys!

I'm new to Penis Enlargement but am experienced playing the game...

Dude never place all your eggs in one basket. The hardest time in the whole process is when you are starting from scratch because you feel like you are in a position of weakness or need, like you "have to get this one girl." That is the wrong attitude entirely and will prevent you from being cool, funny, and relaxed. Once you get a few girls into your harem everything tends to fall right into place because mentally you don't really care whether you get that one girl or not. Sure you wanna have this girl screaming out your name as you get down and dirty with her, but really you could care less because you have other options. And you'll be more selective when you have other girls and that is an attractive quality.

The best way to get a grip on the process is to go out and game up girls like its your fucking job, which means you don't just talk to a handful of girls all night. You have to be talking to like at least 10 or fifteen groups of girls a night. This is the only way to learn and get good at this stuff. And remember have fun because it really is just about having a good time. Shit I always have fun, even on my worst off nights when no girls wanna talk to me which is pretty rare...:D

Check out www.fastseduction.com

There is some good free shit there...look for Mystery's archive...he has a totally laid out gameplan for the entire process from meeting women cold all the way to sealing the deal...Its very structured and best of all its free. ALso check out Tyler Durden's archive...

Its really all about dedication so just forget about that girl, unless she is the only cute girl within 50 fucking miles of you....which I doubt is the case...get out there and make it happen with some new girls.

Thanks for all the kind words and advice, but it's hard to just move on. I really like this woman and she was a friend before I had any romantic interest. She has been going through some bad shit lately, as I always seem to be, and I can't lump her in as simply being a figure in a numbers game. All kidding aside with the blowjob emoticom, I never viewed her as simply a "piece of ass" or anything of the like.

Perhaps if I get a chance between my Penis Enlargement workout and sleep, I'll fill you guys in on the situation and maybe it will stimulate some good advice.

At least you gave it a shot. Just remember its better to get rejected than to have never tried at all. Like everyone else said, get out there and look for others!

I will be 29 in the coming days. The lady I sought a date with just turned 26. Perhaps being an old man (as many of you are younger than me) orients me towards looking beyond quickies, especially with coworkers.

Penguin....29 is a great age to be single, man....You have a job so you are obviously making some kind of income and I'm sure you have your own place....I personally don't really like to fuck around with coworkers unless it is in a situation with a job I don't really care about, which I'm assuming is not the case with you. But personally I've found that getting together with coworkers is pretty easy and routine because since you work together they need to spend time with you and listen to you spit game at them.

Without knowing the details--which I don't really need to know--I can tell you that you need to move on and work on other women, especially if you want this one. It sounds to me like you have attached way too much value to this girl. I mean sure shes probably special, but so is every other person I've really gotten to know, with the exception of a few real wackos...lol

My main rule is I really don't let myself develop feelings for girls unless I already "know them" and by knowing them I mean am intimate with them. I am not opposed to relationships and am not a player, but I've found that the more honest I become with myself I realize that even when I used to just want to be friends with a girl it was because I was not attracted to her and I don't kid myself and say I'll be friends with a girl I am attracted to and then try to turn it around later--thats bullshit Hollywood movie crap.

Enough rambling from me.....get out there and don't obssess over any one woman because it will fuck up your chances.

Just an opinion here, You are lucky to have the opportunity to get out an play the field. This is just like riding a horse, get back on.

Being married for 12 years, I usually end the encounters at the bar by answering yes to the "are you married" question. Funny how that shuts things down.

Well, we've established a pretty good friendship which is why I wouldn't even try to merely "hook up". I wouldn't do anything to cause her any emotional distress in the long-term and, had this worked out, I would have made sure we established a real connection before becoming intimate. That being said, it is still relatively thin ice than one treads on in such a situation.

Good thoughts from PaloMalo and nottadumbass. There is some truth to what you have said, but I don't know how applicable it is in my situation right now. I have a couple of personal problems I'm dealing with. One of them is that I'm teetering on the edge of whether or not to commit to long-term sacrifice or declare personal bankruptcy at some point next year. I've made some poor choices, due in part to genuine misfortune and due in part to a lack of good judgment at times.

I'm really not a very good catch for someone right now. I'm really not "looking" as one might think. I saw a particular situation arise with Trish where I read the signs that the timing was right, when she says it is not.

Allow me to present to you the Sandwich Theory. Of course, this is applicable only to people you really want to date for an opportunity to see what can develop. PaloMalo, you've already said you approach things differently and perhaps I'll look at things differently down the road. The Sandwich Theory is not relevant to the Saturday Night Skank that one does not give a shit about.

To me, good people coming into ones life is NOT the same as ordering a sandwich. When ordering lunch, let's say at Subway, we walk-in at our convenience and order a meal made-to-order. People are not like that. People are not ideal or made-to-order, as we all have flaws. They tend to come in on their own terms, with little notice of their arrival or departure. What I mean is, there is a finite timeframe that one will have to interact with those they feel close to, by and large. For example, I have a decent job for what is really considered an entry-level position, but the company has far more good employees that management positions. It's like we pretty much all make around 30K or better, but out of the 500 people in my building, I'd be shocked if 50 of them made more than 40K. So, it is unlikely that Trish and I will both be there, say in about 2-3 years from now.

Trish is not perfect. If I had the magic software to design my own dreamgirl that was madly in love with me, there would be some distinctions. Trish has had two failed relationships, though she has never had someone treat her with much respect. Trish has two kids as a result of these relationships. Trish is a smoker, whereas I am not, and I swore I would never date a smoker. Trish is afraid of guns, though not anti-gun, whereas I'm an "I'm the NRA" kind of guy. Trish is politcally apathetic, though registered Republican, whereas I'm more of a staunch Republican. Yet, she has so much to offer in terms of what is really important. Her smile and laugh just warm my day. She might not say quite the same thing about me, but I know whe really enjoys my company and likes hanging out after work, as she has said so to others prior to my ever expressing romantic interest.

Back to the sandwich illustration, I'll take lettuce on my chicken teriyaki. Even though I would have ordered it without lettuce, I'll still eat it. Even though I might have been thinking about having lunch at 1:30, I'll eat at 12:30 if someone happens to bring a sandwich. Now, I won't have anything to do with nasty shit like black olives or jalopenos on my sandwich. I'm not saying I'll settle for anything--not by a longshot. However, good people that are truly worth making a part of your life in some form or another comes as they are. They have their imperfections and they just show up at random.

That is my personal philosophy. Some might call it priceless, while others deem it worthless, but it's just my idea on things.
