Hydromax7 losing pressure when pumping

I got my Hydromax7 last week, so I'm obv a n00b. Took me a good few hours to learn how to get a proper seal on it first - quite frustrating. Now I have the sealing part down, however, once I get the seal right and I start pumping, the BM immediately loses presssure.

I think I'm doing everything correctly. Valve closed while I get the seal right. Then I open the valve and start pumping. EVERY time, even after the very first pump, I lose pressure once I start pumping.

Until now, I have only used the "pump" I get from getting the seal right, which is actually an OK pump, but I'd like a bit more.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong here? Or should I just start using the VacuWine, which I actually have at home, but haven't tried out yet.

Do you use the comfort pad? I (and many others) prefer no comfort pad. Make sure your very well trimmed or shaved. Also, try cleaning the valve cap. Even though it’s practically brand new, maybe during manufacturing something got in on the seal? Some people recommend Vaseline to get a good seal, I tried it once... never again! Water and a decent amount of Vaseline is a terrible combination!

For me rules were, gotta be shaven, any jungle and you have no chance. I removed my comfort pad which improved it and then lastly the winevac mod. Start with first two first tho

Try opening the valve for pumping water out (increasing the pressure) and right after that placing the valve in locked position.

The point is that whenever I do that it doesn't increase pressure, but quite the opposite, loses the pressure that I built up whilst getting the seal right. This is my problem.

I will try later today without the comfort pad and see if that works better.

where are you loosing pressure from the top of the bathmate or bottom?
It seems like the pressure leaks through the valve as I pump. It will make a "bubbly" sound and air will come in through the valve as I pump.

i posted this for another user having same problem have a look

I to ran into that issue, I would get a good seal
Then loose it. I think a dry pump is the answer. Using water and all that is just to much of a hassle.

Problem solved. Solution: removing the comfort pad. It's still not compleeeetely perfect, as it sometimes loses it's seal. But it's good enough for me.
