So far love the Hydromax. However, I seem to have an issue getting suction unless the valve of the tube is pointed in the air. If I position the tube downward and insert myself then level it out and pump as I did with my X-40 I can't get any suction water goes out but air comes back in the valve as well

Anyone else with this issue? Any suggestions?

Hey Metroman,

I just recently purchased a Hydromax myself, and am having similar issues.

Question : Can you continuously pump after you have released the latch valve initially, or do you need to Pump then lock the valve for each respective pump? The pumping on the previous Bathmate was continuous.

Several people have already mentioned issues concerning the suction, so we're trying to figure this out.

Thanks!

Do you use it outside the bath? if so, do you use vaseline on the gator end and where the comfort pad meets the gator.

Continuous pumping

K- Thanks! - Mine must be defective

As for your issues - trim area + remove comfort pad + add vaseline to test true suction while pumping :)

***Warning : DO NOT ADD VASELINE TO INSIDE OF COMFORT PAD - IT WILL BECOME A SLIPPenis EnlargementRY MESS AND SEPARATE FROM THE GATOR***

I'm contacting Bathmate tomorrow to see about a replacement. I assume that if this was part of the design that DLD would have noticed it when he first used it. Must be a faulty batch.

Have you try to open the switch on the valve? Because if the switch is close then you won't get a decent suction.

Wait so when we first put it on we are supposed to have the switch at the top on open instead of locked when we first put it on then lock it?
I thought we were supposed to always keep it locked and get suction off of that.

Ok this is what happen last night. I filled up with water while the switch was closed. There was still little water leaking out on the top then I attached it onto my penis and couldn't get a decent suction. It's like the pump is not giving enough suction and pressure was not that much to my penis so I try to open the switch where the water came out from the valve similar to X-40 then I tried to pump it. It works and I have a good suction and pressure from it.

The valve needs to be in the open position, expel water, lock valve. You can pump to a certain pressure and set it there. I am also loving it without the comfort pad:)

Well this explains why my ligaments are in pain.
I have just been keeping it locked and pushing water out that way. (It kills my ligaments)
I will try it this way tonight.

But lets say I do it the way you say and I push the Bathmate all the way down... After that do I just wait and let it do its work or do I need to keep pumping?

Should be much more comfortable. Once you have a pressure you like, stop pumping.

I don't keep the valve locked or switch from locked to unpicked either. As long as I have the valve unlocked and above a 90 degree angel I can continuously pump without any issues. It just seems strange that if the valve is pointed down even a bit air comes in

Good shit! I mean I guess if someone really wanted to have their own place they could do it pretty cheap. With a bedroom bath and kitchen it is a regular apartment. Nice find and please post pictures as you do the remodel. Do a wet floor in the bathroom just for water pumping:)

I just had a talk with the inventor,

He said that you need to press down on the valve before it can move left,
middle or right.

It can be quite stiff to begin with, the more latch the is clicked the
softer the switch becomes.

When the valve is in the middle, not left or right, it works like a
normal Bathmate X-40.

In other words just hold the black valve in and it will fill with water.

We should have a video explaining this soon.

Yes, I am on making the video asap. Possible a quick tutorial this evening.
