Hey guys, I was reading around and trying to see what is typical for expansion after a workout (for example girth before workout 5" and after a workout 5.25"). I see people posting girth gains after bathmate, jelqing, etc where they are enlarged after the session. I would think the more the better? I am just trying to find what is typical for girth expansion... Obviously depends on the exercise but I've seen all the way from 0 to .5"+. If any big girth gainers could chime in it'd be appreciated!!
 
As long as it's true expansion, and not fluid retention, then yes I would say more is better.

From a light to moderate manual session I will typically get 1/8th" to 1/4".

From a good clamping session I will get 1/4" to 1/2".

From a hardcore pumping/clamping/manual girth annihilation session it can be anywhere from 1/2" to 1+", but some of that is fluid retention from pumping.

If I know some sexy times are about to happen, I can go into the bathroom and do some overhand clamps at the base (sometimes called Ulis), and in less than 2 minutes I can get an instant 1/8" or more. That didn't used to be the case, but I feel as though my tunica has become slightly more elastic over time and expansion comes easier.
 
Ok gotcha. I was just a little concerned after last nights workout. I saw a thread where DLD said you should be measuring girth every workout to make sure that you are getting expansion. I think this is a great idea as that's what we should be aiming for to create stress and increase size. Currently I am just doing manual stretching and Jelqing. I also threw in 5 sets of 30 second squeezes as well. However during the measurement post workout, I saw very little to no expansion at all. I am measuring by getting 100% erect right after the routine (I'm already 70-90% during) and taking a girth measurement and comparing to my known girth. Maybe I just need a more intense workout to see expansion? Granted I am just starting and do plan on bringing in the bathmate and other exercises in the upcoming weeks. Is this the right way to be taking girth measurements for a workout? I am guessing you will see expansion after the workout for at least some time, which is when you will want to measure. Or will you only see expansion during the actual workout itself? Sorry, lots of question! :)
 
You should see something, if you are getting no expansion than something is wrong. Men should expect .25" up to 1" of temporary expansion.
 
What about from just jelqing? Not really seeing much. Thinking I should maybe grip stronger?

I would get little-to-no expansion from a purely jelqing session. I personally don't think that anyone with 6 months or more of experience should ever be doing a session of nothing but jelqing.

The Jelq is a very Newbie based exercise. I would simply forego the Jelq in favor of the SlowSquashJelq, this will bring incredible expansion. The only thing that makes the SSJ better is combining it with your BathMate.
 
Thanks guys. I think jelqing has its place though, and as far as I'm concerned relatively new on my journey I think it could be great for conditioning! Thoughts?

By all means, yes, Jelqing has its place and in many instances men can make the girth gains they desire using the jelq. It also has its place in maintenance after gains have been made. But, for many men, eventually the Jelq will to produce gains any longer and a more powerful exercise or tool will be necessary to keep growth going.
 
I'm really researching and trying to work on ways to get more expansion. It's new to me and I'm trying to find the exercises and routines that show it. A mate will be added soon, but I'm doing some manuals (SSJs, ULIs, Horses, squeezes etc). Should this expansion be able to be seen after the workout too? I'm confused. Let's say a SSJ takes me to 5.25 from 5 while performing them. Should I be seeing 5.25 or at least over 5 maintained when my routine is done?

Seeing a half inch in temporary gains is a big deal, especially with manual work. You are in the right place. If you are getting that much expansion manually I can't imagine how much expansion you will get with the BathMate! Excellent wormy Brother.

It's going to take time before the girth becomes permanent. You can try to keep it around longer by edging, using a cock ring/clamping, or both. I need more hours in the day to do those things.

Over 7 weeks of stretching by hand and jelqing I gained 0.25" in length and no girth. I could see a little added girth after finishing my jelqing but none of it stayed. Wasn't until I got a Bathmate that I actually gained girth.
 
How much girth have you added with the bathmate if you don't mind me asking?? I am looking forward to incorporating it into my routing soon but it seems a lot of people are hating on it for "temporary gains".

Last time I checked I had gained 0.5" girth. It's going to be a few weeks before I check again.

There's no hate towards the temporary gains. I love looking at my penis all fat and full after a girth session. It's awesome.

I've always been right in the middle I guess you could call it. Having more hanging out after a Bathmate session is awesome.
 
Of course DLD I've learned that from you and others on the forum! I was simply saying there are a lot of members here and elsewhere who are complaining they have never seen any permanent growth from the BM, only temporary gains. Maybe they are not consistent enough or doing good routines.
