Well, the easy way to answer is...is the 5lbs giving you any fatigue in the penis or ligs?? If not, you should move up a pound or two. I personally...when I was hanging , would stick with a given weight level until it would no longer provide any fatigue. I would hang as many sets with one weight as I could until fatigue started to set in. Once I could no longer hang that weight I might drop it down a pound or two at most then, continue to hang until I reached fatigue with that weight. I made it a goal to up my weight by at least a pound every week or every other week. Lets say I was using 10lbs as my "working" weight. So, in this example, I would hang 6 sets a day 5 or 6 days a week with 10lbs. If by the end of the work week I did not have any fatigue at all, I would up the weight to maybe 12lbs. Then, as before I would attempt to hang ALL of my sets every day for the whole week with that weight level. Many times, (another sign youre on the right track) I would reach fatigue for example, on day two or three with the 12lbs...so, I might have to bump it down to 11 or maybe 10lbs and finish all my sets for the week at the 10lbs. Then, the next week, I would again attempt to hang ALL my sets for the week with 12lbs. Once I was able to do so and again reach the point of having very little or no fatigue, I would again up the weight a pound or two and repeat the same process. Capish?

If possible I try to raise the weight by 1lb every week. Seems to be working good for me, thus far.

The hang master BIB told me recently in a PM to never just hang up to the point of fatigue (the point where you simply can not hang anymore at that weitht). He said gains come quicker if you get to fatigue fast 2-4 sets at a higher weight .. then drop some weight and continue hanging till you're done for the day. After fatigue if you drop the weight some you will lessen the risk of injury. Some days i get fatigue (usually at 15 lbs on the second set. If i try to go for the third set the skin starts to really stretch like its gonna tear or something. I drop the weight to say 12lbs and do a couple sets. When the skin becomes an issue again i drop the weight some more for a few more sets or stop for the day. Injuries are just not worth it.

Hmm, maybe I'm going about this wrong. Instead of pyramiding (?) up maybe I should go higher then drop the weight.. Hmmm..
