Any thoughts on this? I'm sure most of us have at least read about "hot wraps" as a warm up/warm down ....but what about a cold wrap or a dunk in ice water after intense girth work? I've heard of pro athletes and body builders soaking their legs in ice water after intense workouts. The shock of the cold bringing more blood into the muscles and arteries. Well???

No I haven't tried it to be honest. But I do something thats called dousing.
In Sweden, Russia....etc... You "douse" yourself in cold water immersions
1-2x a day, in the wintertime. It improves your immune system and has many health benefits. You can do a search online if it interests you. And yes, it does improve overall blood circulation in the body...I cannot be positive, if it will increase inflammation to the penis. This is somewhat interesting because cold does have a vasoconstriction effect, But then the after effects are the positive. At the end of the shower I will do this and gradually turn off all the hot so, I get about 2-3 minutes of freezing water on me. I don't know how you can keep a wrap continually cold w/o the action of running water on it at all times. And just have it hit your penis.....

I know this was done at some point in time by a lot of people probably at Thunders before MOS existed. Some said it helped. I really don't think that the shrinkage will hinder LONG TERM penis growth. It's worth investigating. I personally don't have time for either hot or cold wraps, but I think it might be an aid for healing the tissues.

Yeah, I´ve tried it, and I pretty much like it.... I do this (don´t remember where I read this): After a good girth workout go into the shower and start with WARM water , for 30 seconds, then use COLD water for 30 seconds, 5 times warm water , 5 times cold water (be sure to finish with the COLD water ) and then rub your penis with your towel.... that´s it...

I tried it and did not like it at all. I got a lot of shrikage. And my my sack got shriviled. I think it is opposite that what you want. Your legs are arms and thigs are completly different than your penis, way differnt. You want to keep as much blood flow in the penis as possible, and cold water does not do that, it does the oppostie.

Think about what happens when your penis reacts to cold water or for taht fact your whole body. It goes into a state of shock and self defense, all of your body reacts to fight it by shutting down un nesasary parts and starts to turn on its receptors to block the cold and then it starts to shake.

I tried this and just did not like how it works with the penis. I like a hot wrap better, my penis gets much more blood flow and gets very warm and plump.

it may get warm and plump, but you maybe retarding healing. think about long term, like how does it feel the next day. i know during doubles during preseason id do cold whirlpools and then i felt like i couldnt run right after i got out, but 2-3 hours later i felt like i didnt even have practice that morning during the second practice. or if i tried to jerk off after a pe workout and a post hot wrap it would feel fatter, but not hard or very strong as opposed to a cold wrap and later on i try to jerk off and it feels fuller, harder, and ready to go. read my responses to stillwantmore in your faster healing post and tell me what you think.

i remember doing something like this. After working out in the shower , i would jerk till i was 100% and slowly turn down the water . and i would keep myself at 100% as the water got colder. I did this till my erection was still rock hard but was almost numb.

i think it just helped keep blood in the penis for longer because the veins would tighten up i suppose. didnt really do it many time though. It might help flaccid size or keeping blood in after a workout

id have to say a routine like this is much better. first i tried 30 on/off with cold water for 5 sets and then i tried doing it straight for 3 min and 5 min. the on and off strategy seemed to help the most without overdoing it and avoiding overshrinkage.

I think t woud be a good healer to the tissues and agree with what supra says about we want blood in thier and cold water kinda fucks the blood off.

makes sense i guess, when you cold/hot contrasts you create a pumping action of oxyegn, nutrients, and other stuff in and out of the area cleaning out waste and replacing it with the aforementioned stuff. i dont if it would come at such an amount that it enlarge the penis, but it would probably give you stronger erections.

Yeah, I was going to post on that concept and saw you got me covered... I'm for the cold/ warm treatment to muscles and tissues.
