I've been really interested in the topic for awhile. I myself think i've had hemmorhoids but im not entirely sure. I remember when i was 19 at school and i felt this sharp pain in my ass. I sometimes feel effects but i try to eat right now. I do alot of squats in the gym because im trying to build muscle mass. My lifelong dream is to be a professional wrestler and i need size to do it. Anyways i wanted to know if anyone else has had them...It would be good to know how to avoid them. I also heard that squatting can cause hemmorhoids. I have lifted alot of heavy things and i probably will always have to lift things. I don't know many jobs that don't require lifting something. I know wrestling can be a very streneous career. But i still refuse to give up on my dream. If anyone can give me advice it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

I got em'. I don't do anything for them besides some PrepH when they inflame....which is almost never.

Ulcaster...i remember you dude from the other fitness forum. I have them sometimes too. Well,im actually not 100% sure what it is. I just know i sometimes feel an irritation in the ass. Anyways, i do alot of bodybuilding and outdoor activities. I do alot of squats to build up my so called chicken legs (blah) Do you do squat exercises?

hey dude, i also was scared that i had them.. because a few years ago, i talked to my cousin who is a doctor and she told me that it could be hemorrhoids. i told her detail to detail.. my butthole would sometimes bleed especially when im using the bathroom (#2).. i would get kinda freaked out to see red blood on the toilet.. and yes, it hurtd like hell!!! it feels like its been stretched.. but she told me that the cause of it is over stretched of the butthole area asociated with the genitals.. erections, masturbations, etc all make it stretch.. but now, it doesnt bleed anymore. it only hurts sometimes.

I have one too and it rarely flares up (kind of ironic but it has over the past few days) I have to avoid any kind of reverse kegel stuff when it is inflammed because that just makes it worse. I also keep my self very clean in that area. I never use toilet paper (I will clean with baby wipes then take a bath)

cumkiller, I can relate to the scare of blood in toilet. I am super freaked about not wanting skid marks and to wipe super well and probably a little to much and to hard. Doc says I have hemorroids but other than the occassional blood spot in toilet water no probs at all. let me tell ya what though, the exams for them are a straight guys nightmare, let's just say axel grease and a finger.

what did ur doc tell u about hemorrhoids? personally i didnt tell my doc about it.. so are u still bleeding? as for me, i stopped bleeding for about a month now. its an OFF and ON thing.. so i might expect to bleed again next month or so. i realized that when my anus gets stretched too much, either from jackin off or whatsoever, it hurts especially when u take a shit.. so, is this some kind of disease?

good advice from the daddy,

wet/ baby wipes are really good for hygine. :bootyshak

I have had them on rare occasion from doing heavy squats. Usually only gotten one when I really strained on the toilet, therefor, I no longer strain on the toilet. If I dont feel I can shit, I get off the pot and wait till later. I no longer get hemoroids. Or, cannot recall the last time I have had one.

I had one a couple of years back. Got it from trying to lift a 150 year old fireplace mantle in place by myself. It got lodged on the bricks. I had to either force it on up or drop it. I forced it up and got a terrible hemorriod. I wound up in the hospital for surgery. Lots of things could cause rectal bleeding. Even an aspirin can cause blood in the stool. As a precaution I would recommend seeing the doc.
