The best way to clean is by using steel wool right?

I tried cleaning it by usng a tooth brush and tooth paster but I realized tooth paste has oxidation and that decreases voltage.

Did using tooth paste permanently decrease the voltage on the zinc?

Where can I buy steel wool at a cheap price?

Steel wool is available everywhere that they domestically have herds of steel sheep.

And if your particular country doesn't breed steel sheep (you're missin' out) then most dollar stores with a small hardware section actually carry it. Otherwise, any department store or handyman type store will definitely carry it. Good luck!

Use fine or ultrafine steel wool once every three or four days. The voltage starts to drop a little after 3 or 4 days. Clean the latex tubing with soap and water . This will keep your ROP functioning like new.

I guess I better break into my old high school and head to the science section and steal me sum steel wool..

So what happens if you just clean the rods with soap and water while scrubbing em?

guys i used SOS pads today just generic ones and the darn rods look more shiny than when i ordered them. I cleaned my rop with just soap and water before they looked a little dirty but i couldn't belive how really dirty they were. When using SOS u get the best of both worlds soap and scrubbing
