Howdy,

I just got a golf glove last night, and it seems to be better than my bare hand but not a huge improvement. Need to work with it more, only tried a few moves with it - plus left hand was all they had, I usually stretch with my right hand. I've tried baby powder & toilet paper, both help some. I intend to try surgical gloves as well, since someone else has mentioned it.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem. I can never seem to stretch as hard as I believe I should, or as hard as I could stand. I can feel the stretch but never any hint of pain, when I try to go harder the head starts slipping through my fingers. I've tried OK grip both ways, it's better for me with the palm toward me, that is with the head between thumb and first finger like the classic jelq grip.

I'm stoked that I can finally achieve an "A" stretch , and in that position it feels to me that I can maximize the force. Still, for example doing the regular blasters I can only do maybe 8 reps before losing grip. Also, doing the warmup of 100 kegels while stretching straight up, I feel the tugback so hard it will cause my grip to slip. I have to re-grip every 10 - 20 kegels. If I don't really lower the tension while doing the regular kegel it will do that.

I'd appreciate any comments about this, and have one more question. Does everyone grip right behind the glans, so that it in effect absorbs the force? I've tried some stretch moves while gripping lower down the shaft, and while the shaft doesn't stretch as far I can feel it much more around the base. I really get more of a "tent" effect when stretching like this. Does this do any good at all? I imagine the tunica & ligs/tendons to be kind of like trying to stretch an insulated copper wire. If you don't grip the copper itself, the insulation will stretch past the copper core which won't stretch at all. In this manner, to me, it feels that gripping just the glans itself causes the ligs/tendons to take the brunt of the force. If I grip below the glans, all of the ligs slip through like the copper wire.

Thanks,

Somehow I doubt oil of any kind would help grip. ;)

Baby powder seems to be the best and easiest thing you can use to increase your ability to grip your peins.
