It not meant to be easy, you have to stick with it just like Penis Enlargement...the first thing that prevents someone from achieving there goals is there attitude.

It's hard to run on my legs after I kicked their ass the day before on the squat rack.

Sorry, i didnt mean my original post to sound so downbeat. What i meant was that "weightlift, run and eat right" was absolutely spot on. Bottom line is everyone knows how to get in shape, like everyone knows how to quit smoking...just do it. But few ever do. ( I should add I myself am overweight and aiming to get this sorted right now also)

But there are hundreds of books on each of those three points, and I know I've been shocked how hard its been to get myself eating right. Counting calories, finding foods, finding time to make and eat right, thinking of nights out, snack foods etc etc. "eat right" sounds easy, but it's best going in to know its anything but. And after you get a plan, most days will still be somewhat of a struggle.

I take my hat of to anyone fighting the good fight of weight loss, surely no battle is more noble.

One thing that works pretty good for me is not keep any sweets near you or even in the house. Just plain ol' good food. And you feel alot better eating sallads, vegetables and such.. Fish, Chicken is also very nice.

I use one of those programs that count the calories for you, You just type in what you ate and how much and it counts it, it's superb! But sadly enough it's in Swedish. If there's one in Swedish i'm sure there must be 10 in English :D

Hard to do at the same time. Usually they are done in cycles. Bulk: for gaining muscle. Cut: for shredding fat. Check out the forums over at bodybuilding.com as there is tons of info out there.

Ive always found Brad Pitt to be skinny, so I never understood the deal with him. I mean have to give him credit for getting ripped for movie roles, but as with most movie stars I dont think he keeps that shape year round. I heard he had to bulk up a lot for Troy and that the movie people thought he looked funny with his skinny legs.

Brad Pitt is so popular because of the abs and the perfectly oval shaped face(makes you look good wearing anything and having any kind of hair style). Lets be honest most movie stars find it easier, to go to a plastic surgeon, than exercise all day.

If you have read anything at all about Brad Pitt and "Troy" you probably know that he was considered in very bad shape and had to train for months to get in reasonable shape. I always thought he was in great shape already. So if Brad Pitt was considered out of shape thats gotta make us more regular guys feel like shit.

He was really skinny and they bulked him up a bit for troy. He may have looked ok but not been in good physical condition.

Do HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) for fat removal and muscle gains. Very quickly done compared to jogging for an hour.

It's hellishly hard though, but supposed to be better than jogging for fat removal and keeping muscle, even though you just use like 1/4 the time.

Quick summary of HIIT Training:

30 seconds of jogging than go to 30 seconds of sprinting. Do that for 4 minutes a day than add a minute every week till you hit 10 minutes. Sounds simple but it really reduces the fat.

Not sure 7 days a week of HIIT would be very smart. Could easily lead to overtraining and injury. Rather try 3-4 days a week or so.

The way it works is by increasing the metabolism throughout the day, which means more calories used. Personally I have noticed that my heartrate is elevated for several hours after doing HIIT. But then again, my minimum heartrate has dropped substantially over the last couple of months because of HIIT :)
