Even though I've been doing Penis Enlargement for many, many years, I still have a problem incorporating girth work into lengthening routines. Right now I've been focusing primarily on length. I start by either doing a 20 min hanging set with 10-12 lbs, or else some manual stretching, though I find them painful. Then, I put on my extender for as long as is feasible (today so far-8 hours). But I've just ordered a Bathmate and want to incorporate girth work as well, but I'm not sure how that works.

It's important to get and maintain an erection for effective girth work and at 54, I find that easier in the morning. Don't know why. Maybe test levels are higher in the morning. Anyway, if I do what I used to do (jelq, uli's, bends and then clamping sets) I get quite a pump. And, I expect, even more so in conjunction with the Bathmate. But then, after getting all pumped up girthwise, why whould I want to detract from that pump by stretching? Theoretically, you want to maintain that pump as long as possible, maybe incorporating a cock ring or something. But then, that means you don't do any length work till maybe evening, or not at all that day. Now I guess this might not be so bad if you just did girth on alternate days. But is that enough? Is a solid girth workout every 2nd day sufficient for gains? Maybe even preferrable?

DLD, SWM, RED and others, how do you work this out? I've thought about doing the girth work in the evening, but after stretching all day I don't know if my dick's up to it. I guess I could do some vitamin V, as I have an ample supply of that. But I don't think it's healthy and maybe even unsafe.

Any thoughts guys?

Some guys do length work 1 day and girth work the next. I do both in the same day depending on what Im feeling. Supplements will give you an extra boost. I hang with the LM and 5 lbs still hurts but Im relatively new to hanging but 10-12 lbs I am not even close. You can incorporate hanging with manual stretches Ive read that is effective. I feel that hanging with light weight for longer periods of time would be more beneficial over time thats another reason I hang with such light weight. I guess that up to opinion too.
 
you shouldnt be feeling pain from manual stretches...or hanging...if you stress the tissue more than it needs to be it will not grow.

have you ever done body building? i tried working my chest evryday as hard as i could, and i lost a considerable amount of muscle mass. my chest looked deflated after a week of doing this.

since the penis is mostly smooth muscle, i imagine that smooth muscle needs to be gently pushed as well.

think about how the uterus grows during pregnancy (also made of smooth muscle) it grows with gentle and constant pressure, your penis shold feel firm while its hanging, but not like rock hard, and it should be very stretchy afterwards. some people think that "turtling" is a good sign, but this is an indicator of calcification of penile tissue, or PD

i like to hang at just below my max weight, just egnough to get a good stretch, but no so much that it causes an excess of discomfort

I don't experience pain from hanging, just manual stretches. And the pain is confined to the head of my penis, where all the pressure is being applied. It's not lig pain, or tunica pain. It's just simply too much pressure on the tip of my penis.

So, I don't experience discomfort when hanging, other than my bib hanger pinching skin sometimes. Then, I use the X4 extender for several hours, or as long as circumstances permit.

BTW, what exactly is "turtling?"

oh ok...simple egnough, youre probabaly wrapping too close to the glans, do its 1/2 inch back form the head

turtling is an expression some hangers use to describe their flaccid penis being hard and small after a set...if your penis is hard when its flaccid you have or are developing peyronies disease

This is a broad statement and contextual, fatigue can cause this too along with many other factors. I just don't want guys running off thinking they have peyronies disease because their penis is fatigued.

Hydromaxm, i want to agree with you man...but the way i see it, better safe than sorry...if your flaccid penis stays hard after excersizes, for hours after you are done, i would deffinatly say you are developing PD

but youre probably right about it being fatigue, but what would cause the hardening of the flaccid penis besides PD? im having a tough time finding medical references to flaccid hardening for any other reason. i used to get the ol turtle from time to time, and i thought it was a good thing, SOMTHING was happening, but the more i think about it the more i feel iffy about the whole idea
did you turtle consistantly? or did it just happen occasionally? or not at all?

sorry to bother you with such a winded response, but im just trying to get it all in there haha

When the penis becomes fatigued it will shrink and become dense, which can feel like you are describing. It used to happen in my earlier days of Penis Enlargement but as I progressed it happened less and less.

very interesting...ive notices my penis is like a gummy worm lately, hahaha i feel pretty good about it...

It can feel mushy, slightly hard (especially at the urethra), maybe a bit numb (kind of alien) like it is someone else's penis. With intense Penis Enlargement there is swelling, retention, growth and other factors that can all contribute to that strange feeling. I remember the first time I experienced this, I freaked out big time. After the feelings subsided and I got through it a couple times I realized it was all part of the growth process.
