anyone go tany suggestions on getting rid of or at least trimming back my fat pad? and abs?

and open for advice for lowering my blood pressure.

blood pressure wasn't a problem till last year or so and would like to clear it up.
thanks guys.

Diet and exercise. Eat healthily (none of that low-carbs crap) and workout, especially running. Work up to where you can run like 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week and the fat will drop quickly. I don't know about blood pressure.

Lose body fat and lower or stop salt intake.
That'll help level BP levels a little bit. Might be from other things.
Smoking, riods, drugs, stress, diet, a million things.
What was your last reading, was it a serial check?
As for fat pad, thats a stubborn area. No clue

Exercise will also help lower yer blood pressure alot. And take time every day to just sit back, close your eyes and relax. Go lay out in the sun or somethin and get a tan too, that's what I do :D 40m everyday.

For abs. start off with...
25x4 Crunches
25x4 Leg Lifts
Work yer way upto like 200-300 reps in sets up 50
Leg lifts will help develope the muscle where yer fat pad is.. but there is no such thing as area specific fat burning.

For fat burning, go run/power walk for a while everyday and as stupid as it sounds.. eat more. Lemme explain this though, eat healthy food, but keep food in yer stomache as much as possible, this will shoot yer matabolism sky high and really help with burning calories, especially while ya sleep. Just eat fruit or somethin inbetween meals to keep somethin in yer stomach, not alot and remember keep it healthy.

For removing fat pads, some people have suggested high concentrations of Conjugated Linoleic Acid. The only downside is that prolonged use may hinder muscle gains as well, but there is a lot of debate on this supplement. Usually you want to stack it with Fish Oils as well.

Kinda expensive though, and some diet pills include CLA in them, but to get real results from it you need to use it long term as it does more to prevent you from getting fatter than to actually lose fat, so it can be good when dieting so that when you get off the diet and go back to a normal way of eating you don't get as fat.

My fat pad is disproportionately large compared to the fat concentrations in other parts of my body, so I may be giving this a try to see if it works.

Fuck suppliments, just exercise and do leg lifts, developing the muscle there will make it appear less fat, athough it's not gonna speciifically burn the fat in that area. If you truely need help loosing weight, PM me and I'll help you with everything I know. I'll set you up on an exercise program. I can suggest to eat healthy but don't ask for a specific diet.

Maybe try thiomucase cream for reducing the
fat pad. Heard it works but I'm skeptical.

And I say again, fuck suppliments! Don't waste yer money on that shit when you can do it without it. I've never taken any suppliments for weightlifting or exercise and I never will, the only thing I've ever taken was Garlic pills and Multi Vitamin.

I think reducing stress is a big factor with blood pressure as well. Try and get good sleep and relax. I have always been in good shape but I think stress has left me with a mediocre blood pressure.

I have malignant high blood pressure. I am currently taking 5 different blood pressure meds a day. Some of the pills are twice a day and some are every 8 hours. Not to sound gloomy, but every doctor has told me the same thing , that it is not a matter of IF I have a stroke buta matter of when. They all concur that it is avoidable and there would be no recovery when it happens. Through diet and the meds it is currently down to 180/110-115. This is actually lower for me than it has been for some time now. It has ran in the 150-160 range on the bottom.
I fully understand that IF I am to conquer this problem then it will be something I do as the doctors have no clue. Exercise is out except for the light stuff. The dr said I am toooo close to rupturing a blood vessel in my head.

ANY advice in this area will be appreciated.

C-Guy Take an Asprin a day, I'm sure yer doctors have told ya this before, but I'll say it too. It thins your blood and can really help reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Take time out to relax everyday too, like I said earlier. Just go to a quiet place and close your eyes.

As for exercise, if you have a dog or a pet that you can walk, go out and walk around the block. Or if not, go walk around the block once or twice every night. If ya do all three of these you'll probably see results within a week or two.

9cyclops9, wuts wrong with a lo carb diet???

Carbs are essential to a healthy diet. Low carb diets are not healthy. They may make you lose fat quickly, but it's a really terrible way to do it. Granted, some people are extremely overweight, and for them a low carb diet may be what they need. But even still carbs are essential and once they get their weight down they should start eating carbs again.

I feel like I am becoming expeienced these two areas since I started my quest to lose weight and lower my blood pressure. My blood pressure was between 89-92 when I started this. My weight was at 225. It has been about 3 weeks and my blood pressure has dropped to 72-74 and I have lost 19 pounds. The changes I made were not drastic at all they were quite simple. I eliminated all table sugars from my diet. I replaced soda with water. I limited my self to one cup of coffee a day. I stopped eating all processed foods. I eliminated most simple carbs from my diet and now consume mostly complex carbs (in limited numbers) I eat mainly lean red meat, skinless chicken, fish, whole grain breads, cheese, milk, limited amounts of rice and pasta, vegetables, some fruit, prezels, and for my sweet tooth I invested in some RUSSELL STOFFER low carb, sugar free, candy. In addition to my diet I also exercise at least once daily for 30 minutes doing moderate aerobics. I also try to take a walk evey evening for about 30 minutes. So far so good.

Can some one explain a fat pad? I dont know what it is at all, seeing I dont have one, is it just the nice way of saying you have a beer gut?

Low Carb Diets are good for eatin away at your fat, but it also eats away at your muscle as well. Carbs are also essential to have a healthy diet. Exercise is the best method for loosing weight.

lol

Not necessarily. It's just some fat below the belt on the pubic bone area.

I said I didnt have one, and then someone told me I was full of shit, saying everyone has one, but I dont think that is true. I am 6-8% bf and am really muscular and have a 6 pack. And I am on IGF and it shedds bodyfat, so what you think? I just dont have any fat down there.

It doesn't feel like there's anything at all between the skin and the pubic bone? Like you can knock on your pubic bone and it makes a sound? Haha. I dunno man I guess it's possible not to have a fat pad, especially since you're so athletic.

Well there is not a bone sound, ah well I dont care, I dont measure BP anyway, only NBP for me, that is the true length. So anywho!:D
