Is there a good gel for jelquing that wont make you feel all sticky after you shower? I use baby hair gel, i think thats what its called (recomended by supra), water doesnt remove it after I workout, it stays on me for the next couple of days leaving me feeling really sticky, especially when its hot.

That's a non sequitor. Ever heard the phrase "oil and water don't mix"? No petroleum jelly product I've heard of is water soluable.

I use a water based lubricant call slip and it works good for me. To me water bases lubricant are a lot easier to wash off.

That's is the Truth! For wet exercise nothing compares to Petroleum Jelly. Let me explain; with any lubricant there is a thing called DRAG. Basically, DRAG is the amount of effort and intensity it takes to get from point A to point B. Using the basic JELQ as the example there will be different DRAG with various lubricants. I have tried every conceivable lubricant be it oil or water based. Body lotion, cocoa butter, and the like have decent drag and it cleans up very easily but I was never one for anything that was "decent". Oil (baby oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, etc.) gives me almost no pressure or intensity on the stoke and the drag is crazy fast. After working out with an oil I do not feel worked out and clean up is difficult. The water based products start out bad and get worse as the session progresses. Something like KY has very quick drag, limited intensity and dries and becomes sticky within minutes. It is a breeze to clean up but I feel like I had a terrible workout using it. Vaseline (the cheaper the better) has superb DRAG, the pressure can be as intense as I want since a type, hard pressure grip will not slip (thereby destroying the good DRAG) There is rarely a need for reapplication, it is very inexpensive and I believe much of my early Penis Enlargement gains were a result of using this product. The bad part of Vaseline, which has a silver lining, is the clean-up. It is very difficult to remove the product once it is on but this makes for a thorough WARM-DOWN (the silver lining) I always used the clean up period as a warm-down. I would spend a good five minutes washing off the product with soap and hot water, alternating between using my hands to massage in the soap and hot water and using a wash-cloth to wrap and wipe. After a Vaseline workout I felt incredibly worked out and I also felt good that I got a decent warm-down in.

This might sound weird, but Bag-Balm, comes in a green tin, and is technically used to cure chaps on a cows udders. The shit works great. It has the same consistency as vaseline, but it is much easier to wipe off, and it has a perfect balance between lube and drag, at least in my opinion.

Thats interesting Cyinisis, I've seen bag balm mentioned before, is it like "Udder Cream", but thicker or what?

I always wonder why people didnt use lubercate from like shops and such, now I know why. It's the drag thing, I remember some that I tried it just zipped down the shaft really fast and I couldnt get a good grip to make it go really slow for the workout. Thanks for all the different ideas and stuff, wow everybody replied fast. I posted before I went to sleep hoping someone would reply, and I woke up and theres a ton of posts.

could it be that people who dont gain over a period of 8 months, be using the wrong type of lube?

It's not a cream, it's more of a gel/jelly type thing, like vasaline. Let me know how you like it Vlad.

i use Jergens Original Scent....

I've used Jergens before. I don't think it has nearly the drag that Vaseline does, and I had to keep re-applying it every few minutes. With Vaseline, one coat lasted the whole session.

I've been using Albolene as a lube for Penis Enlargement, but last night i tryed Vaseline as DLD suggested and i must admit that it was much better. It provides good lubrication and more drag. Engorgement during jelqing was much improved. I'm convinced... Thanks DLD.

Yeah I used Jergins before as well. (also vegetable oil in the very beginning lol) But nothing works like Vaseline. The lotions hurt my skin after so much friction. Like if it isn't applied forty times or so my penis will get a really bad burning sensation. It's because it's lotion obviously. It's not supposed to stay on the surface.

Also, a lot of lotions have alcohol in them, which can be hard on very sensitive skin.

I guess I'm just ghetto because I use petrleum jelly. I know for a fact, that is why my skin is virtually scare free. I just to use it all the time to masterbate when I was a teen. Plus it's cheap as hell, I mean who can't afford $1.00

Best lube for me is coconut oil found in supermarkets or gnc. It's not to slippery and is very easy to cleanup. Good for the skin and I love the smell.

Old post but I still agree, vaseline is the best for wet work. It lasts very long so there is no reapplication needed half way through a session, it has incredible drag (meaning it is not slippery and grip can be made) and drag is very important to expansion. If any lube is too slippery there will be a lack of intensity in the stroke. The biggest issue with vaseline is the clean up but men can look to this as a perfect time to use some hot water as a warm down in clean up.
