I went to subway and basically had to beg them to put enough food on my sub so I could at least get a meal. I was so pissed off!!! And then they got that Low Card crap. I dont go to Subway to get cheapo 0 caloire water crest T-sandwhich. I go to get a foot long steak and cheese, with Chips and a Coke. I dont go to Burger King to get a protien burger, I go to get a Double Whapper with bacon and cheese and everything on it. Fuck Subway, Why cant I go in and get a full sub of meat and sides with everyhting and not beg so they will put more on! WTF!!! Fuck those cheap bastards.

All I gotta say is Supra you gotta get to Philly and get some real deal cheesesteaks! You would be in heaven!

Food vendors go with the current trends. They follow the dollar of the average joe. You aren't the current demographic. If you are so hungry for that stuff, help out a mom and pop shop that makes subs or steaks. They'll make your food custom to order and enjoy your business.

I think it is patheic how I buy the sub and they barley put anything on it!! It pisses me off so bad!

Shop at a non corporate store. Go to mom and pop's right off the boat from Italy, Greek, Russian food shops. The best deli's are family owned. Look around and talk with people and they will tell you were the best grinder, sub, or hero sandwich in your area is at. All the complaining won't make them change it back just for you. Go were your dollar is desired and appreciated.

I agree. There's this great sub place a couple blocks from my apartment. It looks really ratty, but their food is SO good! And cheap too. Also there's this mom and pop place in the North End of Boston called Ernesto's Pizzaria...best pizza I've ever had. And it's $5 for a huge slice and a coke (huge as in a quarter of the pizza). Yum.

I also support mom and pop shops. Plenty ova hea. Anyway, you have a choice of what you buy at subway, its not ALL atkins food, thats for the dieters. Subway was made for dieters in mind.

Supra, I must disagree with you on this one. The Atkins wraps are some good shit. I eat one about five nights per week on my way home from work.

I'm not a fan of low/no carb diets either Supra. I think they're just another excusable fad diet. I have already started to see some backlash directed at them. People not knowing what they're doing eating all this meat and fat, then having heart attacks because the clogged up their fucking arteries with that shit.

If you want to lose weight it's simple; eat less and exercise. That's it. You don't even have to eat sensibly, just have smaller portions of the stuff you like to eat, and work it off through exercise.

The ONLY way to get a good sandwich or sub is to go to a REAL Deli or Mom and Pop store!! I live 5 min from Subway world head quarters and Still dont like them. If I HAVE to eat there I ask for Double or triple meat. Its the only way! I really dont care for Grubway!!

Damn Right!

Low-carb diets give good results for a number of people with poor metabolism. I wouldn't recommend them to an older individual or someone with very high cholesterol, but I don't think there is much harm in someone my age trying them, as I'm in no danger of a heart attack right now.

Personally, I prefer an approach like South Beach over Atkins. South Beach focuses on restricting carbs for two weeks and then reintroducing complex carbs with whole grains. It doesn't allow for much in the way of saturated fats either. There is no sausage, liver, bacon, cheese, etc.

I have "done" Atkins and it did work. im not going to rewrite the book here as he already wrote them. But most of the people who have bad results are because they dont follow it properly. They are lazy assholes who then complain about their own laziness. But Atkins has never been no carbs. Even the first 2 weeks I ate plenty of vegetables. By the maintenance phase of Atkins most people are eating a lot of carbs and eating a lot more traditionally healthy than most people. To work it does require a higher than FDA recomended fat content, but so does any diet for a healthy male who wants testosterone. Plus, the fat can come from Salmon and other fatty fish, nuts, olive oil and stuff like that. People who eat NO carbs are NOT doing Atkins.

Anyway. I decided to eat a more balanced diet myself. I eat 6 meals a day and feel better than I ever have in my life.

As far as Subway, they have always skimped on the meat on their subs as long as they have existed, at least to the ones ive been too. Nothing to do with Atkins. If they were catering to Atkins, they should pile on the meat. Subway has always been about the bread. We used to have a place called Blimpies that had more meat. I also like Quiznos because they use real meat. But mom and pop or family places are the best. Even though now all the family places seem to be chains also.

Also, a good rule of thumb is to not order CHeesesteaks at a place that doesnt know what they are. I was a little ignorant about 10 years ago and I didnt realize that cheesesteaks were a regional thing when I went to California. Subshops there didnt even sell or know what they were. Then I found a Subway and asked for a Cheesesteak and they looked at me weird. Then finally they said "Oh. We dont have Cheesesteaks, but we do have 'STeak&CHeese''. So I was like whatever, I'll take that. Then they pulled some meat out of a pot.
