Does anyone know if the ingestion of fiber inhibits the absorption of calories? Even if it's only a small percentage of calories?

Or does fiber only "scrape" out all the garbage in your intestines?

I don't think fiber prevents the absorbtion of calories. I do know that eating high fiber food will fill you up faster, and takes longer to digest.

The effect might cause you to ingest less calories.
