Since I started back with my clamping routine, I have only been doing about 10-15 minute sessions. I am getting the donut effect every time? I used to not get it until maybe 30 minutes or so. It seems like it could be problematic. Is there any thing people do to prevent it?
 
I'd say maybe do some jelqs and/or manual squeezes before the clamped stuff. That'll give your cock a chance to get used to the pressure again.

How long of a break from clamping did you take? Was this happening to you in the past too? Maybe using a hot wrap (if you don't already) will help as well. Sometimes "going back" to clamped girth exercises after taking a break from them for a while will cause a donut effect, or red spots or both.
 
First, my personal routine envolves alot of heat and jelqing. I put on a heating pad for about 20 minutes, jelq for 10, clamp for 25, heating pad for 20, clamp for 25, and heat for another 20. I do this every other day. On my "off" days, I do a couple sets of light jelqing at 10 min/set.

I've never gotten a donut.

How long have you been clamping? If you're new, I wouldn't suggest more than one 20 minute session every other day.
 
No I have done quite a bit of clamping before, and I don't get red spots now even though I have only been doing it consistently again for about 2 weeks or so.

I do jelq to warm up, but I am thinking that that may aggravate it even more. It is just annoying, and I am afraid it is stretching out the skin there and making me even more prone to it.

the effect do you get it right under the head at the glance? well i do too, but it takes a couple contrictors with some uli's and so in it. But hey it goes away the day after(i do this on nites). But in your case do you think they are uncomfortable?
 
Jelqing as a warm-up really helps. Also, as your cock gets more conditioned you can longer with your clamped work.

Yep right under the glans. It is not painful or anything just annoying. Sometimes they last a good 24 hours though (rare).

Well its not so extremely aggressive, but today I think I may have figured out something. I think when I use petrol. jelly I get more drag, and when I go over the glans it kinda pulls on the skin more there, and causes donuts more readily. I didn't used to use petrol jelly, so this may be part of the problem.
 
I get some disgusting fluid buildup sometimes, like Im an extra 1" girth post workout. But I clamp for 40' to an hour
