i do these still, but im not sure what it meant by 3 times each set.

i do this, behind cheeks- left, middle, right
straight down-- left, middle, right
straight out-- left, middle, right
straight up-- left, middle right

are you counting 3 as in 3 directions each stretch or do you count 3 as in
behind cheeks-- left, middle, right left, middle, right left, middle, right etc.?
 
behind cheeks x 3
behind cheeks left x3
behind cheeks middle x 3
behind cheeks right x 3

straight down x3
straight down left x3
straight down middle x3
straight down right x 3

straight out x3
straight out left x3
straight out middle x3
straight out right x3

straight up x3
straight up left x3

ok thanks. I wasnt stretching enough then. But just doing them 1 time each direction takes me half an hour. Wierd.
 
Maybe you try to get the best grip all the time, and that tares on the clock?

Thats 45 sets !

45*30=1350 sek that´s 22.5 min.
I want atleast 15 sek between the sets. 15*45 =11.25 min.

22+11=33 min say 35 min for just the basic stretch.....My god !


DLD: What´s the differens between straight down and straight down middle ?

Yea I was curious too. It seems like that is three times the amount of stretching from the first Newbie routine DLD posted. Why such an increase DLD?

This is more than the original workout. The reason I changed it is that I think it is very difficult to overtrain length (in flaccid state) so I would rather the stretching portion be overkill than not enough.
