Does anyone else experience this? Towards the end of a session, it becomes uncomfortable and I'm ready for the set to end. When I take off the Bathmate, I have the rings at the base of my shaft that everyone talks about. They are NOT from being too big for the X-40, I can assure you of that, but they are present none the less. Also, the area around the base can be tender for a while after a set. I would like to know how common this is, I have an idea of how to solve this problem, but I'm still working on it. In theory, the mod. I have in mind will also prevent the balls from being sucked in, as well as making the Bathmate more effective for length, I'll keep everyone posted as I progress, but in the meantime let me know how common this is. Thanks.

I encounter the same problem after a routine of (not sure what they're called) DLD hydroblasters. I finish my routine with 20 minutes of Bathmate with moderate pressure. But the last 5 minutes kinda hurt, especially on the base. And afterwards I see the same rings on my dick and it feels let's say used. But the expansion I get from this routine is amazing, even after hours, it's still almost an inch in girth.
I'm looking forward to your modification, keep us posted!

Hi guys,

Pain from using the Bathmate is not common, at least we do not hear about it allot in customer support, but perhaps people are more open about it here. Sometimes, when I started out, I used to get this weird feeling, ball pain I want to call it, but it was minor. As I always say, if you are a new Bathmate user, you want to take it slow; but thats completely up to you but our guidelines are there for a reason.

Have you guys had time to watch the Bathmate Instructional video? A link is in my signature.

Well I get some weird pain I never felt before in the area above the penis. It is like 10cm higher closely behind the skin.

I had the rings and discomfort, but with DLD's recommendation of doing sets I now only have the unit on for a max of 10 minutes at a time, for 2 sets, this has eliminated the rings and discomfort for me

Hi Agust,

I should have used the word tenderness, I wouldn't necessarily call it pain, it is more a feeling that I am ready to take it off after 20 minutes, and it is caused by the rings that are created around the base, not discomfort from expansion. I do experience that strange ball discomfort as well, even if I tie off my balls with a silicone ring to prevent them from wanting to enter the tube. It feels like ball pain, but it is closer to the shaft than the balls, it's an odd feeling and hard to describe. Sometimes it's worse than others, I don't think it has to do with frequency of use. I think it has more to do with placement of the Bathmate, for example, having the penis high in the tube (the top of the penis touching the top of the tube) versus low in the tube. However, overall it is still much more comfortable than air pumping.

I feel famous:)

it could aslo be that we are underestimating how much to pump and over pump, the first couple times I used the Bathmate I pumped until it was not comfortable and I figured since there wasn't any water going out anymore that it was at maximum. I started to see how many full pumps it would take for me to get that uncomfortable feeling, usually I get up passed 120 so around 125. So I started pumping and stopping at 120 and the suction was still at max but no pain. I do that for about 15 minutes and the last 5 minutes I'll pump pass 125 and hack it out.

What do those numbers mean on the Bathmate, it can't have anything to do with pressure since a 5 inch penis would only reach 120 or so at maximum pumping pressure, and an 8 inch penis would be at 170 or so before any pressure is applied? I think it is a fluid measure of how much water is in the tube, although it would seem that if that were the case, the numbers would have to be reversed since it obviously won't hold any water with the openig facing down.

the length? or volume?

I decide after my 10 minute sessions to use it in the bath for another 10 minutes and wow what an expansion that was, i wasn't even erect and i went passed 130mm and I felt stretched all over the place lol at a semi erect after Bathmate im at 4.5" i can only imagine what im at 100% erect

Red, how can that be accurate though, the rubber at the bottom of the Bathmate can compress and expand probably two inches? Is is accurate at certain pressures, for instance if you expel all possible water, then see where you are on the scale?

The scale measurements lenght not the volume.
Compression in the rubber has a limit because it touches the pubic bone.

Its for length, ask Agust (Bathmate on here) for more about it as he's one of the main men.

The mm marks on the decal are for the approximate length. The rubber does compress more when you have it on, but only to a certain degree. I did a quick measurement, using my fingers ( I know, not very accurate) to figure out how much is below the 90 mm marking found and it could be off as much as 5 mm.

I'm suspecting some of the factors for variance to be based on: how deep your fat pad is, how much you're pumped and how big you are bone pressed. Agust could lay these to rest though.

Qwerty, that's what I figured too, but if you pump it to the max (no more water comes out) you can see where you fall, then see if it gets better with time when pumped to the max.

I agree, I'm just arguing that it's not a good accurate measurement. The pressure normalizes enough so that you can get a nice rough measurement. The other thing to consider is that refraction from the water and the plastic. You can't really tell how big you are unless you dick is against tube wall.
