What's the recommended method for cleaning the Size Doctor bell? If I leave the gasket on, I can't get trapped water out. Removing and replacing the gasket is a hassle I'd like to avoid if possible.

Dish washing soap and hot water. This would be the safest considering the gasket. Anything like bleach or the light will end up compromising the gasket.

What do you do about the water you can't shake out? Just leave it in there?

I found a "baby bottle sterilizer" while decluttering. It's about the size of a bread box, and makes steam to sterilize infant paraphernalia. Just wash off any accumulated lube etc. in the sink, put it in the box, add water, turn it on, and it shuts off on a timer.

I think that will work fine with most of my PE equipment.

What got me into this whole PE thing was a nasty infection that wound up leaving my penis and scrotum scarred and deformed. With "elective surgery" being a not-thing due to the 'rona, I've been using with PE equipment to DIY. I'd been looking for a surgeon when the lockdowns started, and the urologists were saying "we don't deal with that sort of thing, you need a plastic surgeon" and the plastic surgeons were saying "we do noses and boobs, not dicks." Everyone is a freakin' specialist nowadays...

Anyway, if I come across as a little intense on the subject of cleanliness, that's why.

That sounds perfect and much safer for the equipment. You want to see a specialist as far as the penis is concerned you want a phalloplasty surgeon.

I found out how to get most of the water out of the Size Doctor bell: hold it "up" (valve on top, gasket on the bottom) and then pull the gasket flange down. The gasket will pull out almost straight, and the U-shaped water trap inside becomes just a ridge water will easily flow over.

Any water that doesn't want to come out, a couple of Q-tips will do. I've seen giant Q-tips used for women's makeup; I'll buy a pack of those sometime when I'm at the store.

The steam cleaner... it works OK for the Size Doctor, but it brings the humidity in the house up to miserable levels. And if any of your equipment has been modified with ShapeLock plastic, the plastic will just melt off into a big mess. Oops.
