Chimps turn tables on zoo visitors
KGTV 10 San Diego |
"At Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo, the apes finally get to have a little fun with the people walking through the exhibit. By touching panels that visitors can't see, chimpanzees get to fire harmless air bursts at visitors to the ape center. The apes can also control fans that cool or heat their habitat and touch a panel that launches snacks into the enclosure. The Los Angeles Zoo has also made its ape exhibit more interactive. It allows the apes to pull on ropes that will either ring a bell or shoot water at visitors."
