Captains Wench and Clamp Question

I thought I would try hanging heavy weight with the wench, so I wrapped lightly with cloth, attached the wench, and then got out my medium sized Cable Clamp that I use in girth work and lo and behold, it won't fit around the wench. Do you guys use a larger clamp for the wench? I'm pretty sure I made the wench to specs with the exact material, but there's no way a medium clamp will fit around it.

I have to sqeeze hard to get mine to clamp on the first click. Not sure what I will do if my flacid girth increases much.

Fillerup,
What you and Size both might want to consider doing is trimming the 10" length of your Wench to a more manageable size. I've found it best to start by trimming just an inch - if the clamp still gives me difficulty I can always trim another inch or more - or less for that matter.
At some point you will arrive at a comfortable place where the Wench provides a snug grasp of your shaft and the clamp stops breaking your balls. :)

Let us know how it goes

Good suggestion CaptnHook. While no amount of trimming allowed me to get a medium clamp around it, I was able to make a modification of the wench that did allow a medium clamp to get around. In fact I used 2 clamps. It grips fine but I don't know how to reduce or eliminate the head pressure. All the weight just bears down on the head till it feels ready to explode. I suspect that even if I had gotton the original wench to work, theis problem would remain. Anybody figured a way around this?

Filler,

Can you tell what your modification is? I'm always interested.

As for head pressure:
There really is no way to avoid some pressure on the glans. But we can do two things to alleviate some of this:

1. Position the Wench further back on the shaft toward the base - which may lessen the pressure on the glans, but may also result in more skin stretch than internal stretch .

2. With the Wench on your unit (1" behind the coronal ridge) take a moment before tightening the clamp to squeeze as much blood out of your glans as possible. Quickly tighten the clamp to your liking and hang.
It is unlikely that enough blood will make its way past the Wench within a 15 minute set to cause the engorgement you are dealing with. Ideally, some will. The Wench is designed to allow for circulation. But sometimes, especially if you begin a set with a normal amount of engorgement, blood is allowed past the Wench to the glans, but back flow is cut off (not unlike an Uli effect). This accounts for the ballooning and discomfort.
Reducing the amount of blood in the the glans before hanging should make it more bearable.

Hope this helps Filler,

Thanks for the tips, Captn. As for the modification, it wasn't really a mod of the wench itself. What I did was wrapped with some sports wrap , then attached the two ends of a 1" wide strip of strapping , the same as used on the wench. I simply placed the ends on either side of my penis and then wrapped again over top of them. Then attached the clamp. It works, but still got to work on reducing the head pressure. I have a Bib Starter on the way and Have hopes it will work well.
