Question for the more experienced hangers. If I don't have any numbness or coldness in my head at the 20 minute mark then could I go longer? It would be nice to do 2 30min sets vs 3 20min sets to hit an hour. Just the time saved by not strapping in and out would help me be able to hang for more hours a week. Thoughts anyone?

If you want to hang longer sets invest in a vacuum hanger but don't go over 20 min with a traditional compression hanger

I've done 50 minutes and had no issues...you just have to be more careful. all risks increase the longer you hang for.

oh i forgot to mention i did this with my LM. What are you using to hang. I was constantly checking the sensation on the tip of my head.

so once you have gotten to 20 mins you feel like you can go longer? if this is the case add time slowly. try 25 mins then 30 and so on if you feel you can go longer

The issue is that certain tissues are being deprived of oxygen using a compression hanger and without oxygen those tissues will start to die. The 20 min guideline to prevent this even if you aren't experiencing numbness or any warning signs it just makes for a good habit. You only get one dick I highly advise you not to hang any longer than 20 min. It might not be the whole dick that is being deprived but might just be at the attachment point or any place for that matter. The extra time isn't worth the risk.

Excellent advice to follow!

Alright guess I'll stick to 20 then

I can't speak for a Bib hanger but i am at this very moment using resistant bands with my LM out to a tension over 22 lbs for 32 mins. I regularly go over 20 mins with no tissue damage. My wrap is AWESOME though and so it the LM

With the compression that happens with a chamber like the LM if there are no signs of decreased circulation past the point of compression you are also good to go at the site of compression. If you attached a tight tourniquet over you bicep it would be the most distal area of your arms, the fingers that would show the first sign of decreased circulation. You could also have that tourniquet at an intensity that may decrease blood flow but not completely cut it off to a point where injury would occur. This is how the LM works for me for long sessions

I do hanging for minimum 45 to 60 minutes. Hanging in all 360 degrees in 3 dimensional positions. I can sit and hang my penis so that it comes back wards till my anus. I am also hanging in yoga postures to increase blood flown and relax he mind. All this hanging I am doing while lying down in my bed watching t.v. , heating pad tied around to make penis full warmed while hanging, having dinner or tea whatever. Hanging can be done in dog position and penis stretching behind he buttocks.

Lol god damn no. Even Brad Pitt would look gross doing that lol. I'll just stick to hanging off the edge of my dining room chair

Well depends which type of hanger you use if it is compression type of hanger like BIB I would say stick with 20 minute sets since after that comes ''tissue death''.

If your use vacuum hanger like LG for example then you can go beyond that but your at the same time limited with how much weight you can add.

Yep, there's really no advantage to sets longer than 15-20 minutes. The focus should always be on quality of stretch and continuing to force the penis and connective tissues to re adapt over time. Just because you feel a stretch with the same old weight week after week with a vacuum hanger on hour+ long sets doesn't necessarily mean you are going to gain. If there's no new stretch past the already adapted to limit, you're basically wasting time.

i can't see the point of using vac hanger if you can only go up to 10lb or something like that, what are thees guys goin to do after that, they have then have to start using Bib/hanger and then they have to start on the beginning all over again to adapt the hanger/condisuning the penis and all that.
I say the same as stillwantmore, Vac hanging is a wast of time ( unless you can find away to hang 25lb ) .

Right but assume you can hang 25lbs, then you adapt to that, then can't go heavier with your $300 wonder - vac hanger? Same situation.
