Whats up guys?

The reason for my post is w/ regard to some questions about hanging or using resistance band stretching (with a hanger) and trying to minimize blood being trapped in the head of your penis. I have listed some questions below (I’d really appreciate some feedback and help). I did think I’d share the following with you (current measurement, previous stats and “temporary gains”) so you get a full picture.

I’ve “gained” a ¼ inch in girth over the last 3 weeks. However it’s safe to say these gains are temporary because I’ve only been doing the following routine for 3 weeks, the measurement was also taken a few hours after a PE session – which included the day I used the bathmate (despite me already noticing a larger girth during erections on days before any PE!) but I do feel these (and hopefully more gains, specifically in length) will become permanent as I continue with my regimen and possibly implementing other things in the future (see below).

DAY A –
Stretches (3 sets) - BTC left, center, right, DOWN (left, center, right), STRAIGHT OUT (left, center, right), UP (left, center, right)
Hanging (20 minutes only / 1 set)
600 wet Jelqs (first two weeks I began with 300)
10-15 minutes Bathmate
100 Kegel squeezes
50 Kegel 5 second holds
1 minute Kegel squeeze
Testicle Massage

DAY B –
Stretches (same as Day A – 3 Sets)
4 SETS OF HANGING (20 minutes each)
(I began with 15 ounces, worked my way to 2.5 pounds which I am currently using)

I alternate these days. Currently no rest days.

Anyway, the purpose of this post wasn’t to brag about my huge gain…lol…
It’s because I have some questions/concerns –

1) For a hanger, I’ve been using the “Captains Wrench” (found via online search). It’s a pretty simple apparatus to “rig” and DIY

2) A few days ago I began doing some resistance band stretching (where I would attach a resistance band – similar to one you would work out with to the hanger – sit down – and attach the other end “x” feet in front of me to get a really decent / good stretch for an hour. I did this for 50 minutes prior to my hanging sets (I wanted to keep it on the hanging days so it further “hits” the ligaments). But after 50 minutes I found that my head was swollen and hard to touch! So I stopped.

3) I then began reading about Hangers and them trapping blood in your head, etc. etc. Blood has been trapped in the head/glans when hanging but certainly not to that extent!

4) If any of you are familiar with the “Captains Wrench” (I will certainly be getting a better apparatus in the future) do you know what a good way to prevent this from happening is? I really like the resistance band pulling and stretch…but I don’t want to jeopardize injury! When I remove it it only takes a few minutes for the head of my penis to go back to “normal”…but this also has me thinking about what will happen when I increase my weights for hanging. The same problem will likely occur. Most hangers will apply pressure to the glans, therefore trapping blood in the head.

5) From what I’ve read the best way around this is when wrapping – before attaching the hanger – squeeze all the blood out of the head of your penis to minimize it. And also attach the hanger as far back from the head as possible (which in my case is useless, as my head is half the size of my shaft…seriously…lol)

6) Since incorporating this resistance band stretching, I’ve also had some very slight pain / discomfort in the head of my penis (like right now for instance, yesterday I being the 2nd day I did it for 20 minutes, the first day was two days ago for 50 minutes than stopped – I had planned to do a full hour but then quickly realized the problem so I shortened the time – so after only 2 sessions of this “resistance band stretching” I am feeling some pain/discomfort in the head) perhaps I should take a rest day? Or stop completely? Again, it does have me thinking about what will happen when I increase my hanging weights though.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

BTW – Its also important to note that my previous PE experience was not as consistent of a regimen. It only consisted of Jelqs, using a Pro Extender (knock off Jes Extender) and Bathmate. This lasted about 6 months on and off. Now I have a consistent routine.

- I am considering using the Extender again as it would help on the days I hang but am struggling to DIY a some kind of Velcro strap to assist with keeping the head of my penis strapped in tightly (I know some guys that have done this to the same extender and its helped considerably). So if I can do this I will definitely incorporate utilization of the extender also.

- What are your thoughts on incorporating the extender? My main goal is to gain length in the shaft, so this (in addition to hanging – maybe cut out the “resistance band stretching completely” (had no pain on following days like today before starting it) and add in the extender. Just need to DIY it to make it more suitable and comfortable.

Anyway, starting stats were –

12/18/13 -
ERECT – LENGTH – 5 ¼ CIRCUMFERANCE – 4 ¼
FLACCID – LENGTH – 2 ½ CIRCUMFERANCE – 3 ½

03/03/14 –
ERECT - 5"
BPEL 5 1/4"

08/13/14 -
BPEL – 5 1/8-5 1/4

• BEGAN NEW REGIMEN 08/18/14 (SEE PE DIARY)

09/05/13 –
FLACCID 2 ½, CIRCUMFERANCE 3 3/4, FBPEL 3
ERECT LENGTH 4 ½, BPEL 5 ¼, CIRCUMFERANCE 4 ½

• THE ERECT LENGTH IS SMALLER THAN THE 5” LISTED PREVIOUSLY BUT I AM ASSUMING THAT THIS WAS BPEL OR NOT MEASURED CORRECTLY

(INCREASE IN GIRTH OF 1/4!)

THE MEASUREMENT WAS TAKEN A FEW HOURS AFTER A PE SESSION SO I KNOW THESE ARE TEMPORARY GAINS (NOT JUST BECAUSE I’VE BEEN DOING THIS CONSISTENT ROUTINE FOR SUCH A SMALL PERIOD OF TIME BUT IF I CONTINUE I BELIEVE THESE GAINS CAN BE PERMANENT. I’VE ALSO NOTICED A LARGER GIRTH IN ERECTION PRIOR TO TAKING THE MEASUREMENT AND ANY PE THE DAY THIS WAS TAKEN)

LOL....Nothing fancy....but it gets the job done (providing you do it right....which seems to be my problem).

When i did look around for DIY hangers...I came across a few really really nice ones.
There was another one where the materials cost about 20 bucks at Lowes....this was (obviously) the easiest to make (about 20 bucks at Wal mart)...and a lot more convenient....but its pretty interesting to see what people come up with....
 
I think that You want to attach the hanger in a way that it mostly grabs the penis on its top side. Meaning you want to have the Corpuss spongosium leading to the head as free as possible. This will ensure fresh oxygen going in and out.

Not sure how to accomplish it with your hanger. I accomplished it somewhat in the e xtende r to have more padding on top and more loose padding on the underside.

Yes it is all about the padding in your wrap. I use a LM for upwards of 30 mins. I have a very good/comfortable wrap. how much weight are you able to hang with this DIY hanger you made?

Since you are also doing great deal of hanging you may need to carve a bit of time out to get this type of extending in. You will also want to use your Extender in passive stretching to help you hold on to temporary length gains as much as possible. This can be done for as long as you want or can, the more the better as healing in length work is just as important as gaining.

Agreed. I'm working on DIY'ing a velcro strap for my extender. I figure no matter what using it will help healing in an elongated state and keeping the gains i have (as you said) and using it longer and pushing it will create new ones. so incorporating it on both days when i have time would be great.

As of right now I'm only hanging 2.5 pounds....Had it not been for this i was ready to go up to say 5 or a little less (I really want to work my way up slowly to avoid injury). As you can see the hanger I made works with a velcro strap and nylon then with a clamp around it to keep it tight on your shaft. I'd keep it just as tight for a higher weight as I do for the weight i have it on it now (meaning i wouldn't need to squeeze the penis tighter, the clamp is as tight as it can get already). Off the top of my head if i were to estimate it could hang about 20 pounds...

As for wrapping, I'm using a guaze at the moment (couldn't find any theraband wrap).

Do you have any suggestions because I know you use the bands and also hang?

It would be difficult, but I know what you mean. My hanger needs a clamp to keep it tight.
what i could try is having the tightest portion of the clamp be on top of the hanger.

Such a simple thing it is, keeping ourselves elongates and/or extended, but extremely effective.
 
Perhaps I should cut out the resistance band stretching (with the hanger I have) alltogether?

It would be a shame because I like the intense stretch so much....but when hanging I didn't have this problem with blood trapped in the head (nearly as much).

However, it is a bridge i would need to cross at some point given its a compression style hanger and needs something to "rest on"...so I may as well "tackle" the issue now.

the captain wench that you use can only be used with light weight. when u get to a certain point with heavier tension whether using free weights or resistant band you will always have the issues that come with blood trapping. I recommend a LM

I agree with you.
When I get to a certain point (heavier tension or weight) the issue will worsen or exacerbate.
If I could get a LM now I would....
Does the LM come with the Power Assist? Also, its obvious to me the LM will and can handle/hold more tension and weight, but does it encounter similar problems (is it a compression style hanger that rests on the head of the penis?) If so, how are these problems handled with the LM?

The LengthMaster comes with the PowerAssist and the Bundle/Hanging Chamber. It is able to take up very heavy weight.
 
PLANS / ADJUSTMENTS TO ROUTINE -

Today I increased to 5 pounds from 2.5 pounds. Can feel the blood/pressure in head and glans but its manageable (20 minute sets).

I will continue with the current regimen (Day A - DLD Newbie Routine w 1 set of hanging and bathmate and Day B - 4 sets of Hanging)

Changes - incorporate extender (DIY'd a velcro strap for it today) for one hour each day to help with keeping the penis elongated. And will DISCONTINUE the resistance band stretching until I can get a hold of a new hanger. Will also keep my weight as manageable as possible (5 pounds may be my max until I can get a new hanger given the blood in the head/glans).

FYI - Yesterday took my first day off. Today resumed (Day B - Hanging) Began wrapping differently. Discontinued the gauze and got a cotton wrap. Also wrapping as high as possible on the Shaft and using the clamp on the top of the penis.

Since you are also doing great deal of hanging you may need to carve a bit of time out to get this type of extending in. This can be done for as long as you want or can, the more the better as healing in length work is just as important as gaining.


I've seen a few threads where a member is using an extender and also hanging weight. Extending and hanging together in one day is overkill and might not bring quick gains. The routine would be too intense for the penis.

Extender for 4 hours and manual bundled stretches for a total of 20 minutes daily is fine and will bring quick gains.

The same thing with the Silistretcher worn for 4 hours combined with 20 mins length master session daily will bring quick gains as well.
