BIB - dude!!
I finally got the hanger after 9 agonizing weeks of nothing but horrible trouble. I open the box and it is defective.
The soft yellow rubber-like lining which is on the inside of the two main hard pieces is all messed up.
Part of it on one side looks like it was torn off at the end and is completely gone and is exposing the hard plastic underneath and looks nothing like the mirror image of the other side. One part of the rubber lining on the other side is so thin that it looks as though with just a few uses will break through and expose the hard underneath area - looking nothing like the thick cushion on the other side. Then most of one side of the rubber is so loose it just falls off. wtf?
You must understand my feelings after getting this "work of art" and "awesome piece of exact workmanship"....put yourself in my shoes.
If the hanger was even inspected for 5 seconds before being sent, I am sure you would not have sent it. Do you have an assistant who packages these and sends them out and doesn't give a care?
And were we supposed to get some instructions on how to use it and a diagram of the pieces and what they are called and how to adjust the hanger.....as the web site says reading this over and over is very important for the hanger's proper and safe use? Never got that either. What gives dude?
I will definitely NOT be sending it back for an exchange because I know I'll probably never see it again after all I have been through these last months. Can you just send me some intact rubber replacements and tell me what to use to afix them to the 2 hard parts? And some instructions on how to use it? I don't have the foggiest idea which end is which or how to use it just by looking at it. ?:(

Hey Bro,

I'm sure if you send it back to Bib he will quickly replace it and quickly send it back out. Please remember, It was Not Bibs Fault your order was Delayed, it was MoS Fault dealing with Pay Pal and the limitations.

Bib quickly Sends all the orders out as soon as he gets the payment from us.

muscle,

>Part of it on one side looks like it was torn off at the end and is completely gone and is exposing the hard plastic underneath and looks nothing like the mirror image of the other side. First, the soft plastic is NOT held on by anything except the holes in the hard plastic. When hanging, it is held on by pressure. If you can, please send some pics of the hanger to bib_hanger@hotmail.com, and I will see if it is defective. The two sides are NOT mirror images.

Further, after you send the pics, you can try it out. If it does not work, I will send you another.

>You must understand my feelings after getting this "work of art" and "awesome piece of exact workmanship"....put yourself in my shoes.<

I understand, especially after the delay in receiving it. You will be happy with it, or get your money back.

>If the hanger was even inspected for 5 seconds before being sent, I am sure you would not have sent it. Do you have an assistant who packages these and sends them out and doesn't give a care?<

If there is a problem, it is all my fault. I inspect them before sending them out. But I surely could have made a mistake, and sent you one of lesser quality. Not all Bibs are the same. They are not machine quality, but rather mostly hand made.

>And were we supposed to get some instructions on how to use it and a diagram of the pieces and what they are called and how to adjust the hanger.....as the web site says reading this over and over is very important for the hanger's proper and safe use? Never got that either. What gives dude?<

Uhhh, no. All of the product guide is on the website. It says clearly that NO instructions will be sent with the hanger because of privacy issues. The website has the pics and instructions.

>I will definitely NOT be sending it back for an exchange because I know I'll probably never see it again after all I have been through these last months.<

I can understand your feelings. If you can just send pics, I can replace the plastic parts if they are defective.

>Can you just send me some intact rubber replacements and tell me what to use to afix them to the 2 hard parts?<

The rubber padding is cooked on at 350 degrees. There is no glue which will stick to the rubber.

>And some instructions on how to use it? I don't have the foggiest idea which end is which or how to use it just by looking at it. <

Go to the product guide linked above.

Bigger - this is probably going to be a BIG mistake - but I am going to send it back to you. Once you get it - you can plainly see that one end of the rubber piece is completely torn off and ripped. Forget me sending pics. That'll just be a waste of my effort and more time. The rubber is very loose and if the baking at 350 degrees is supposed to keep it on and attached, it has failed at the manufacturers. Not only that, but the two rubber pieces are very much different in thicknesses when you compare the two sides. If I had them around my cock, it would be pulled to one side all the time and never fit properly (to the thin rubber side, it would not be pulled straight in alignment.) The two sides need to be the same thickness in order to pull correctly and fit snugly and be symmetrical , right? This actually concerns me more than the missing and torn rubber end.
I cannot believe anyone would have sent this one out to a customer. I just can't believe it.
It is on it's way. I am sending it today - right NOW at FED EX

on way to Fed Ex I remembered they do not ship to PO Boxes - so it was sent back to you via USP Priority Mail

I feel for ya Muscleup, I do, but I gotta say that I am very, very happy with both my hanger and the service I received from Bib. It is 1st class.

I paid via money order, all the way from Australia and the money order took longer to arrive to Bib than my hanger took to get back to me.

I've seen a few stories like this (delays in delivery, NEVER defective hanger before), and it must all be due to the delay in Bib getting paid cause like I said, mine got all the way around the world in under 1 week after Bib got my money order!

muscle,

>Bigger - this is probably going to be a BIG mistake - but I am going to send it back to you.<

If you wish, I will simply send you your money back when I receive the hanger. Because of the delays, I will even add on the postage for sending it back to me.

>The rubber is very loose and if the baking at 350 degrees is supposed to keep it on and attached, it has failed at the manufacturers.<

No. The pressure of the lateral compression of the hanger keeps the rubber on. That's it. Heating the 'rubber' to 350 degrees is how it is molded onto the hard plastic.

>Not only that, but the two rubber pieces are very much different in thicknesses when you compare the two sides. If I had them around my cock, it would be pulled to one side all the time and never fit properly (to the thin rubber side, it would not be pulled straight in alignment.) No, the thickness of the rubber has nothing to do with any of the things you listed. Pressure is pressure. Because one side is thicker than the other does not mean there will be more pressure on that side. The pressure will be equal on both sides no matter what.

The rubber does not even have to be the same thickness from one end of the hanger to the other. Since the hanger can be adjusted any way, pressure top, bottom, toe-in, toe-out, pressure will be uniform as the hanger is adjusted. Think about it a minute, and you will realize the way it works.

>This actually concerns me more than the missing and torn rubber end.<

It is no concern. It would be almost impossible to get the rubber the same thickness everywhere.

>I cannot believe anyone would have sent this one out to a customer. I just can't believe it.<

Well, I am guilty. Once again, I will be happy to return your money. In fact, I would rather just return your money. Because of the delays, I do not think you will ever be happy with a Bib, no matter what. Got started on a really bad footing.

BIB-No thanks. I am not a quitter - esp after what I have been through. I want the hanger and not the money. If I wanted the money I would not have gone thru all this and would have asked a long time ago for a refund. Just send me one where the rubber is intact and not torn and I am sure all will be well. I think you should be getting the return today or tomorrow for sure. Thanks.

muscle,

Yes sir. I got it back today. The gel is torn on the upper right side. It had to have occured when it was trimmed, and I do not know how I missed it.

Anyway, I will get it fixed, or replace the two halves with new ones, and get it back to you. It should be in the post office on Wednesday.

Thanks for your understanding. Perhaps this will be the last problem.

muscle,

BTW, I checked the thickness of the gel, and it is great. When I judge it, that is just about perfect.

In fact, if we had communicated more, I would have wanted you to try the hanger as is, and then send it back when you took a break. But this will work out ok.
