I bought the bathmate X40 about a month and a half ago and used it a few times. It worked fine in the beginning but for some reason, the valve is stuck and I can't pump any water out. I'm still within the 60 days return period as I bought it in 7/8/15. Can someone from Bathmate support help me out? I like to keep the product but I feel like the valve is not as good as the old ones. I still have my Hercules thank god and still works great. Any help would be really appreciated.

Have you taken it apart to clean it yet? IMO the hydromax valve clogs up much more easily than the old herc style ones. Crack it open and give her a good scrub. Then hit up Craig from BM. He will mail you out a new one if you need it. BM customer service rules. I'm gonna go clean mine now!

My Xtreme has a little nub that you depress, and tilt to the side which locks the valve. Maybe yours has the same type of valve, and you just need to move it.

Send a message to Bathmate-Craig and he will get you in shape.

I messaged Craig but I'll try to clean the valve while waiting for his message. Is this a common problem with the Hydromax valve?

The valve is subject to wear and tare, so that's kind of subjective. It's human soup coming out of the valve if you drain it through the valve after use. If you pre cum a bunch that's gonna clog it up pretty hard. Plus, if you have shifty water, the minerals will clog it up too. Take it apart and scub it up with some hot soapy water and give it ago.

Every so often, mine starts doing odd things. I take the valve apart, clean the components, reset everything, and it works like new. Probably watch the video on cleaning it, it's easy, but of course you don't want to damage anything

mine is leaking tiny drops of water everytime i fill it LOL i took the cap off n i cleaned it worked ok for a while but is not working that well going to clean it again n see how it works..:p

Did you drop it or something?

You need to regular clean your BathMate's. Remember, we are using water and water will always find a way out if it can, even the smallest deposit of oil or dirt can cause an interruption of vacuum. keeping it clean will ensure you get great vacuum for the life of the pump. Some men think running it through hot water is enough. It is good for daily practice but I highly recommend that you thoroughly clean it once every 2 weeks. You have made a big investment, take good care of it!

Also men, never buy a BathMate outside the Brotherhood! Too many guys are doing this and ending up with fake BathMates. We are the official forum for BathMate and you know you are getting the real thing. If you find a cheaper BathMate it is NOT real as BathMate no longer discounts any of it's pumps.

I encountered the similar problem after about 3-5 uses. After I clean it, I can use it again. I also kinda experimented in putting the valve in in different positions. To me at least, it works best having the valve position horizontally (left and right).

So it wasn't that you had it to the locked position? Weird that it would clog up after such little use.

Did you request a new valve?

Yeah, I thoroughly checked that it wasn't locked. I can see residue usually after about 5 uses probably because after a pump, I would do 5 mins of SSJ with lotion. After SSJ, I would reenter and do the bathmate again so its probably the lotion that's causing the clog.

I haven't yet because I want to use it for a few more months so maybe next month I would request a new valve.

Oh that's annoying. Why don't you use the baby oil in 'gel' form? Still says its really good

Don't wait so long that you are out of warranty.

I'll give that a try. Which brand do you suggest?

Don't I have extended warranty of up to 5 years since I ordered it thru the MOS affiliate link? Who should I contact for the replacement valve? Thanks DLD!
