You can pump first without the Vacu-vin if you want to to. Then you can add the ring (or the corktop) and use the Vacu-vin to create more suction.

Both ways work. Nowadays I usually might start creating the suction with the Vacu-vin from the start, but surely I could do the initial suction with just the BM or Penomet.
Matter of a preference, I would say.

Good to know. I'm waiting a while before I do the mod. I've found if I can keep as much water as possible in while sliding the BM on that I get far better suction from the start. As soon as I feel I'm not getting enough power out of it the mod goes on.

If we were to carry one version of the Wine-Vac which version do y'all think best. I may be able to strike a deal for us.

I was referring to big schwanz' post about completely removing the valve and using the wine vac that way. Can you still pump first to get a good seal before using the winevac or do you have to use the wine vac from the start?

I havent had a issue and I completely removed the valve, put the cap back on and stretched it over it.

The WineVac cork uses the same one-way valve principle as The BM valve, so you're able to get a seal w/out using the hand-held pump, but I'm not sure why you'd want to. The VV cork could also dislodge itself from the tip of the BM since it only utilizes compression from a rubber washer to keep it in place. So...this is how I do it: (I've only used this in the shower, btw)
Fill my X40 with warm water from the shower and place it against my body, holding it in the middle with my left hand, (I'm right-handed) and with my right hand, place the hand pump on the cork. I have to move my left hand higher toward the tip so I can steady the cork while I'm pumping w/my right hand. It requires a bit of dexterity, but once you get the hang of how to hold it against your pelvis while keeping the VV cork steady/straight it's very simple. After a few pumps, the seal is tight-enough to go hands free which enables you to conduct your 'normal' shower duties. It's also very simple to add/reduce pressure incrementally in order to find just the right amount of 'pain', lol

Would any of these vacuum pumps be better than what we are using now? Any benefits to an electronic pump?

Electric Wine-Vacuums

I don't know , but I do know one thing the wine back I had I am maxxing out with pressure at 7 inches, and it is intense.

Personally, I prefer the control with doing it by hand...I could see getting flustered and not being able to shut the pump off fast enough and end-up with a 'blow'd-up d!ck' (cartoon style)

What are you starting with? As in are you gaining 1/4" EL or 3/4" or more or less? And how much more are you getting with the winevac mod vs before?

It looks like I'm getting about 1/4" extra while pumping (no WV mod on mine), more if I'm able to pump after stretching. I dunno if I should be getting more than 1/4" temporary length from the Bathmate or not.

with that wine vac mod I am seeing 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch of length gain, far as girth I am gaining a 1/2 to a 1'' of girth post pump, which puts me at 5 1/2 to 6'' girth post pump.

Damn, good to know.

Awesome!

Guys if you have not done the vacuvin mod on the bathmate, I suggest you do it. All I can say is holly hell the expantion I got of just 2x5, I know someone that is going either be in trouble when she gets it, or she is going to love it.

I believe there is no difference between the vacuvin mod and the extreme pumps though I've never tried to use my vacuvin mod

Difference is two fold

Vin Vac is inexpensive saving you over $100 on a Extreme. Wine Vac costs about $10.

Next, the Vin Vac gives so much more intensity than the Extreme.

I keep reading everywhere that the Vin vac gives so much intensity but since I have a total of 3 pumps, I never had the chance to use the X40 that came with the Vin Vac

I don't understand, what do you mean?

once you give the Vacuvin a try, it will all become very clear...it literally increases the negative-pressure exponentially over a stock BM and is even stronger than The Extreme
