Hi guys

This is my first post here on MOS so be kind :s
I've been using the excellent Bathmate for around 8 months now but I'm starting to get hard veins (Penile Vein Thrombosis) on my penis (on the right hand side). I first noticed this the other month, it was only a little lump and it went away after about a week of cutting back on the Bathmate and masturbating but its returned and it looks like it has spread.

My Bathmate routine lasts about 30mins a day doing about 300 Jelqs in that time, I've only recently started adding Jelqs into my routine. Could this be causing the vein problem?

I would really like some advice as I'm worried about this, I want to continue using the Bathmate but if its going to be causing this problem then I may have to stop (and I'm just starting to get good results as well)

Been There man--I would lay off it awhile. Use some ibuprofin and maybe wet heat. You need to let it heal--

just my 2 cents

Thanks...it will go. I just need to give me willy a rest. I just don't want to stop using my Bathmate if this keeps happening

how is your routine exactly? how many minutes a set?at how much pressure? warm up? warm water?

You really need to warm up before and I don't recommend going more then 15 minutes straight with high pressure. I've had this happen twice because I never warmed up and went too long.

Warm ups and warm downs can really be a drag but they are very helpful in our plight. I really don't have the 10 minutes to warm up with a rice sock or a heating pad, my time is very budgeted so I make my warm up/downs very simple and quick. For length the warm up I do some light stretches in all directions, maybe 3 minutes worth. For girth it is a couple minutes of deep tissue massage, just get things loose and ready. After I train I always warm down through deep penis massage, I usually use the DLD Testicle Health Stretch and Massage, this is a vital workout and it serves as a warm down and gives me the ability to work any fluid retention out.

I think the Jelq can cause thrombosis, that is why i dont do them, because i experienced this problem with them. Do you do a 30 min continious routine? they advise not to use it for more than 20 minutes at a time.

thanks for the replys.......I'm glad I'm not the only one who's suffered from this. My routine is I usually get erect first so there's blood flowing and then do around 100 Jelqs to warm up and use the Bathmate for around 3-5mins, then do 30 more Jelqs followed by Bathmate for 5-10mins, then 30-50 Jelqs and then 10-15 mins of Bathmate, then 100 Jelqs cool down. Depending on the suction each batmate session can be anywhere between 4-10 mins (warm, Bathmate sessions and cool down is about 30-40mins in total)

I think I just need to warm up and cool down better and maybe restrict my Bathmate sessions to 5mins followed by less Jelqs.

I would suggest that the Bathmate be used as I have directed as it is safer and more effective. Pumping for 20 minutes straight will bring fluid retention for most users (some can pump for hours with no issues) but for most guys I suggest pumping for 5 minutes and follow that up with 5 minutes of Slow Squash Jelqs and repeat this 2-5 times. This will bring greater tissue expansion less retention and changes of thrombosis.

Can you gain girth without jelqing, as I am having a vein problem that hurts when I jelq over it, it seems to get worse after using the Bathmate. Also, is this likely to go away on it's own?

JELQING is an old girth technique, many greater techniques have been created over the years and tried and tested, such as supra slammers, slow squash jelqs and the Bathmate.
