Here it is. I'm an aeronautical science major, recently we ahve been studying corrosion. Galvanic corrosion is two dissimilar metals causing corrosion by an electrical current produced through an electrolyte. There is a scale of most cathodic metals ( most positively charged) to most anodic (negatively charged). Gold is the most cathodic, and on this particular list (dealing mostly with aircraft metals) magnesium is the most anodic. It is almost twice as anodic as zinc. Guess what i'm getting at. Another story: I'm converting a Dodge Daytona to RWD with a V8. I ordered a bell housing made of magnesium. There is a bracket on it that I'm not going to use. Naturally, as anyone would, I cut of a piece and stuck it on my balls. So with all this work they are a little sweaty. I check my regular ROP voltage, its .75V. Thats actually the highest reading I have gotten from it. So I take it off and check the magnesium with the same copper. 1.3V! No kidding I'm sitting here with my balls tingling. I've had the regular ROP for about 4 weeks. Seen moderate results and I'm happy with it. I've had the new one on for ten minutes. I couldn't wait to post. I can really feel it.

Also my daily vitamins say that the 100% daily allowance for magnesuim is 400mg. Zinc is 15mg. Magnesium is cructial for your health. There is no way your body can absorb enough from that little piece to cause an overdose.

That sounds really cool.

One thing I have noticed, I have tried the magnesium and the silver and aluminum before, I always go back to the origonal design, anything over .5v gives the same as something that would be 1.5-2.0v, you can really only zing so much.

Zinc is crucial!!! That's the whole reason it works so well! YOu can use something instead of copper, but don't leave the zinc out!

You may be right in general, but my readings are usually below .5V due to dry skin maybe. With magnesium I'm always getting at least .9V, and I know its working. As far as needing zinc for it to work, it is based off of electrical potential differences. Not because of the zinc specifically.
