What was it that made you want to join the Marines in the first place? Is there a lot of military people in your family? Is the money that good? Just wondering.

Anyway dude, hopefully you'll make it back in one piece. How long they got you over there? Indefinitely? This "war" is never gonna end man. Hopefully you won't have to stay too long.

My friend, I'll pray for you and your colleagues. You will come out of this healthy and in one piece, I’m sure of that. You are going to war to make this world a better place to live in, not only for us now, but for the future generations as well. You are GREAT!!

Thanks a lot man, I joined 2 months after 9/11, thats why I joined. Money does not replace my life though man and the hurt my family would feel if I was gone for good. I did it just for something to give back to america I guess. Thanks for you care man, and all of you.

Supra - I do not know if you will read my other post to you somewhere on this site - so I thought I had better post to you again as it seems you have read these posts and will continue to read more as the days go by.
Just wanted to thank you so much for all your contributions and words of encouragement to others on this site. Even though i do not know you or you know me, I classify you as a cool friend who I enjoyed reading here at MOS. It was almost like a punch in the gut (well, balls actually) when I read you were leaving. I kinda felt sick, in a way. I really don't like getting sentimental and shit, but crap man, I will sincerely miss you and your posts. (and actually your pics weren't bad, either!!) lol
Your input and responses to people really showed a lot of thought behind your comments. and your sense of humor is top rate. Thank you for your time and ROP (I actually made one and have it on right now) device.
Finally, let me say that it has been an honor to know such a cool Marine and God bless you on your upcoming journey. Please be safe and duck alot!! All you guys are tough and will be doing great things for us here at home. Thank you for giving a part of your life in service to our country, and return home safe and in one piece. Also - Supra it would mean a lot to me and others from MOS if we could somehow have a get-together when you return and actually meet each other in person. I think that would be a great reunion!! I know I'd even travel to Hawaii for it! Would love to meet u dude.
