I'm using a diff'' server software for this test.
Simply click the following URL ''address''.
If it works than a dialog box should appear asking you wether you want to download the file thats their...do as you wish its only some shitty port scanner as a example....I just wonna know if you get anything.

Also after that test try COPYing the link here and pasting it into your web browsers and than test that.
Post here with the results.

EDIT

[The server is now up....be quick and get back to me soon please]

okay guys I found the problem.
Its MY FIREWALL.
Its so highly tuned its BLOCKING you all from DL from me.
Let me look at it.

Okay what is it, the server I am using is very secure.
It needs to know the DL IP address.
Than I have to feed the IP into the server so it than enables you to DL from it.

I want 2 or 3 volunteers as soon as possible to post here with the words Howdy I am ready.

I will than post back with instructions....and test it once more.
cya.

Why not just open up an unused (and uncommon) port on your firewall for us to connect through?

that is what I have done for this nrxt test.
Port 60.

anyway heres the place to go

EDIT

click than see what happens, than copy and paste it into ya browser.

also try

EDIT

and copy and paste that aswell.

tell me what ya gets.

thanks for trying steve,,,I saw all your blocked connections at my end,
It works at my end so its not my firewall.

Do you have a firewall>???? if so enable it to let all traffic in and out for port 60.

ALL give it ONE MORE SHOT.
I have just done summut that may help now,

Hey Red, I think you might be right. I will open port 60 on my firewall, but need to know what kind of traffic it is (IP, UDP, TCP)?

Well I tried all three data types and couldn't get it to work. I tried in IE, Mozilla and Opera. Tried it as HTTP and FTP. I am able to NeoTrace you, but not ping you so it's not on my end.

Red, instead of trying to make the an HTTP server, why not use FTP software instead? I use Cerberus FTP for file transfer with friends and family. It's a multithreaded FTP server that offers high performance without sacrificing ease-of-use. Designed to use very little CPU and memory, Cerberus features a user-friendly interface that can be easily hidden or accessed from the system tray. The server is able to listen for connections on multiple interfaces (Multi-homed PCs), run as an NT service, resume failed transfers, and offers an easy-to-use manager for controlling user access to files and file operations. Connection limit, timeout, and IP access can be controlled by the administrator as well as a variety of other settings. In addition, Cerberus FTP Server offers statistics on connections as well as robust logging capabilities.

Great thing is you can assign a username and password for everyone here at MoS and limit the number of simultaneous logins.

Cool thanks for trying I will give that a look.
I dunno what the prob is...maybe its just shit.
Noone can ping me anyway so dont worry about that, my firewall prevents it.

Ill give that software a look.
cya

No prob, let me know if you install Cerberus and I'll try to connect for ya. Also hit me up if you have any questions about the program.

sure will, dunno when - tommorow most likely.
Anyways are you into computer security and all that? if so than visit my site at

http://pub121.ezboard.com/bthetrackerslair

I am adding to it albeit slowly...not much their except some articles on tracking.
I could do with help on planning and ideas so feel free if you would like.

Anyways thanks for the advice.
cya

Yeah, I'm becoming interested in the whole tracking/security side of things. I just signed up at your forum and am looking forward to learning more from there. I'll share the site with a couple of my friends to see if they will sign up.
