Hi Guys, about 1-2 years ago I read on here about some alternative to a cable clamp that you could find in the automotive section of a store. I was just wondering what the name of it is. I have a cable clamp but was just curious to know what the alternative that people were using. It kind of looks like one of the plastic tie things that the cops use instead of handcuffs. Can anyone help???

Check out cableclamp.com

I've been doing my clamping by hand for almost 2 months now, and it seems to be working, although I haven't measured it yet.

If you're looking for an alternative then this is what I'm using for now and love it. I wrap first before putting it on. I use a 2" ace bandage near my base and that's it.

It's called a Turn-Key Clamp which you can buy at Home Depot, Ace or online. I use the one size for 1.75". It's a hose clamp with a "turn-key" that you turn to tighten/loosen. Perfect seal and if you wear boxers and loose shorts or pants, you can go public.
