I did the beginner routine consistently for a month and now I feel pretty shitty now because as it turns out I was wasting my time. I haven't gained even 0.1 inch, my dick is exactly the same as it was a month ago. I've heard of beginners gaining an inch in a week and I feel discouraged and tempted to drop the whole PE thing. What I did:
Kegel routine at some point in the day
In the evening:
500 - 600 jelqs, pretty intense (I guess so cause I'd have to stop for a second every once in a while cause my hands hurt)
Edging
2 sets of basic stretching without the behind the cheeks stretch. Again pretty intense, my hands hurt.

So why am I not seeing not feeling any gains? Am I doing something wrong? And I think I should see at least a 0.1 inch gain to know that it's working but no, am I just unlucky?
Thanks

I am no expert by no means. I have only been doing PE for 13 months. I have had good gains using the bathmate. I would try that for a month and go from there. I wouldn't throw the towel in yet!

I did not gain from the newbie routine when I originally did it either, but I have gained length from hanging. If length is what you are after I would recommend you look into hanging. It is a time consuming process but is most likely to get results IMO.

Give it some time, don't get discouraged straight off the bat. The guys you read about making massive gains in a really short time are the exception and not the rule. It takes a little while to learn proper form and the correct intensity to start seeing results, you'll get there and you have a great network here on these forums if you have any questions 😃

well i have spent years into this PE stuff and i measured the other day and i was 7 BPEL i have taken breaks n stuff but gains arent that easy sometimes keep going whit your routine and check the newbie routine the SRT and stuff n you will see...

he is right...it takes time. have you had any changes in flaccid hang. that is where i saw my first even changes. stick with it. and as boohoohoo mentioned hanging is a great way to make gains if you feel the need to switch up your routine. but after a month i would recommend you keep up with what you're doing.

????????? dude you havent even done anything till now.........you skipped nearly all the exercises in the routine hahahhahhaha
read it again .....it has stretching in every direction , rotary cranks , Ace bandage wrap etc...
read about Slow Squash Jelqs , expressive stretching , stretching intensity and see the result in a week :)

But read the DLD newbie routine carefully
http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/...2-inches-with-this-routine-full-tutorial.html

Thanks for the reply. That's what I meant by basic stretching, I did all that. The only thing I skipped is the warm up because I live in an apartment with my family and there's just no way I can do the warm up inconspicuously. (I can do jelqing and stretching in my bed in the evening). I know there's a bunch of other exercises but I've wanted to start with the newbie routine and was rather hoping to get from 5.7 to 6 at least.

And you will dude, every single one of us here have had those doubts/thoughts pop into our head at one point or another. The difference between the people that gain is that they stay consistent. You WILL have that day when the number creeps up on the ruler and it will be the best feeling ever, then nothing will be able to stop you 'cause you will know for certain that it's working, guaranteed 👍

O my bad brother... i misread that.
But try increasing intensity with hands and if not possible then as boohoo said hanger and lengthmaster are the best ways to gain and provide best intensity for stretch.
Warm up is a MUST inorder to avoid any injury. you have to figure some way out to get it hot or try a hot shower for a few minutes and do a few stretches there so you make the ligaments loose and then carry on the workout as you do. or get a hot bottle used for pains or soreness of muscles and say you have pain in your thigh.
And do begin stretching behind the cheeks or do fowfers or lazy ass stretch as they are important to stretch the tunica. Behind the cheeks is VERY IMPORTANT to push out the internal dick also.
I would still consider beginning a bit of intense exercises like expressive stretching ,__________ stretches and you should see gains for sure.

Thanks man. Could you post a link to how to do expressive stretching because the only thing about it I found is dld's blog post but it doesn't really go into the mechanics.

YOU HAVE TO READ, READ READ READ.

you have obviously not been reading here on the forum, you do not expect any gains after 1 month. You go for 0.5 inch in 6 months, that is your first goal.

Just calm down just keep reading and do as much pe as you can, keep posting and ask as many questions as you whant, these guys here know everything

I don't fancy being patronised. You do expect some gains in the first few weeks, even DLD's site FAQ says so. I think most people here would agree that 0.5 inches is
good if you're a 9 inch veteran, but pretty unimpressive if you're just a beginner (since beginners are supposed to gain way more easily).

It could be an issue with how much intensity you are using. If you are using the Newbie Routine in it's entirety and using proper intensity there should be gains starting after a month. Are you holding back on intensity for any reason? The penis is very strong and can take quite a bit of intensity. If you are using full intensity and my comments are off you may want to slip into a more demanding workout and maybe incorporate some tools to help with the process. If you have not read it yet, check out SRT, it is a very powerful routine and has brought gains to many people who have not been able to gain with other methods.

I guess I wasn't maxing out intensity because my hands just hurt too much, but I'll try and deal with it. I'd love to get my hands on a lengthmaster and other tools but I'm 18 so that will have to wait until I live alone and make my own income... Also I'm not sure I'm doing the rotary stretches right. With the straight up and down stretches I did fairly small rotations and with the straight out I did the whole big circle, is that right? I also couldn't do 25 cranks because my hands would slip, especially on the straight out rotaries, I could barely do 15. I guess I'll try and put baby powder on my dick as well as hands and see if it makes a difference. Anyway, any tips on manual stretching and how I should improve it? I'm more worried about hurting my hand than my dick heh
Thanks DLD

i am just trying to taking you down to earth kid. When i found this site in 2009 i did pe for 4-6 weeks and did not gain anything, and i was so disappointed that i just quit this and said to my self i do not have time for this shit. But somehow i could not stop thinking about this.

I am not a veteran, I am not a 9 incher and i have never gained anything from PE, i have been consistent now since 21 june 2014( with one 6week brake )and my goal is to gain 0.5 in length before august 2015.

The thing is i am just trying to help you not to bee disappointed, thats all, you can not expect to be a fast gainer, you have to dedicated your life to this, that is what i am trying to do.

listen to DLD and the veteran guys, buy Sizegenetics and be consistent. good luck sir.

The rate you make gains isn't based entirely on how new to this you are as much as it is based on your individual penis' response to PE. Some men require much more intensity and time to gain than others. What Commodore is trying to say is that you need to be patient.

When I first started PE I gained nothing with the newbie routine, and after that it took me about 6-8 months to gain a little over 3/4 inch after doing a daily routine of hanging for over 1.5 hours. Keep all that in mind as you continue, or if you don't have the patience you are just going to waste your time. Plenty of men have come on this site, hoped for big gains, seen that it didn't happen or took too long, and gave up. That is what Commodore is explaining, so don't take it personally. This site is made to be a Brotherhood and sometimes we have to point out the not so nice truths.

Your hands will become stronger as you progress in PE, most men do not use the muscles regularly before starting PE and once they start their hands can get tired quickly. After a couple months you will have an iron grip and strength will no longer be an issue. It sounds like you are doing the rotary stretches just fine. Be sure to vary the circles from small to large to hit all angles possible.
