Sky News |
"A 15-year-old girl has become the youngest female to be banned from football matches following a riot after a Portsmouth game. Felicity Thorpe admitted being part of a crowd of more than 300 who went on the rampage following the Pompey-Southampton derby... Pony-tailed Thorpe, aged 14 at the time of the game on March 21, was spotted on CCTV dressed in a Portsmouth shirt and throwing at least 16 missiles - including stones and rubble - at police, Portsmouth Magistrates Court was told... [According to Prosecutor Nick Hawkins] 'She said in interview that she had been hit by a baton earlier in the evening and felt she could get back at the police by throwing missiles at them.'"
