Stealth hang/extend after 7" length

Has anyone found a decent way to stealth hang or extend when over 7 inches? the extender to the side doesnt work because the vacuum bell makes way too big a imprint, down doesnt because you can barely walk or sit. With hanging I can do this with a coil but it can make quite a thick long bulge...
