1 month on the newbie and then straight into hanging is not the best thing for you. Do the newbie for 3-4 months and then ease into other things. 20 minutes is way too long, back those sets down to 15 minutes and no more. (when you do start hanging again.)

Hey Dogg, have you tried doing stretches upwards towards your navel and Kegeling against the stretch? I read about this somewhere (here?) and believe it works. I have the tree trunk effect going 6-6 1/4 base 5 3/4 midshaft. I attribute most of this to these stretches.

Limit your clamping to 10 minute sets. Do 4 sets if you need to, but don`t starve your cock of FRESH oxygenated blood for more than 10 minutes JMO. If you are doing that many jelq`s you should be properly conditioned, just take it slow. Also, Jelq in-between sets 5-10 minutes.
