Hey so is the x40 a little bit bigger then the herc? I have the herc but switched to the x 40 case of bad gator bite and blisters. I have had no issues with the valve but the thing is pretty big. Figured out how to get a good pump with it but think the x 30 may be a better fit.

I look at it like stretching out a balloon before you blow it up. Try to blow it up before you stretch it and its takes a lot of lung, now stretch it out some and it is now much easier.
