I think that’s important. There’s a difference between letting them in on it and then giving them the space to do with it what they want versus pushing it. You should never force PE on anybody. Just give them the information and let them deal with it what they want.

With Matters of Size online for over 15 years now, I’m sure there have been many fathers and sons both doing PE.

My brothers and dad know. They don't do PE though.

Awkward way for them to find out, but I'm glad it all worked out for the best!

We should all strive for that kind of relationship with our sons.

How can they bring it up to you if they don't know about it? I guess you would have to create the relationship where your son is comfortable bringing these types of things to you.
